If I were to guess, I'd say it's probably an autistic ironic larp. His suicide note seemed lucid and didn't strike me as someone that was all the way insane.

I genuinely take this as evidence that the guy lost his good mind. And never got it back. I think the guy was lucid, but I am convinced that he suffered from some issues that he never got addressed, nor resolved. His time-travelling nazi sthick could have just been 4-chan trolling attempts as well. Could have been a common, but bad case of depression that got him in the end, but I just can not fathom that someont, anyone, sane, would throw money at the gunt and fuentes.
