Even though it's probably just a big nothingburger, I just think the whole thing is funny and more proof that Q is a spastic retard with no self awareness. IIRC he did something similar to a Mumkey Jones fan account a few years ago where he cussed him out via DM's in Twitter and made a complete ass of himself. Apparently this guy is notorious for doing that it clearly seems.

I honestly don't see Quinton addressing this unless drama channels who actually get views bring it up and I don't think they will because it's not worth a full video and he's so insignificant that there'd be no point in bringing it up in another video unless maybe as a 2 second joke but I doubt it. His silence speaks volumes though, it's clearly bothering him but those chicks didn't want to out him, probably due to Lindsay getting shit from Moviebob fans last time over it so I still don't think he'll try talking about it if they pretended to attempt to give him an out while still outing him but with plausible deniability. I feel like admitting to this would make him look worse and more hypocritical than like anything else he's done, like really, really hypocritical cause half the the memes he shares on twitter are making fun of guys who are bad with women.

I'm only giving Lindsay the benefit of the doubt because she held her tongue for years while Blob would frequently shove himself into her Tweets and constantly infer that they were the bestest of friends despite her dropping obvious hints that she didn't want to be lumped in with Blob. It wasn't until he did the online version of crashing her house party to announce HEY EVERYONE LOOK! ME AND LINDSAY ARE SUPER BEST FRIENDS FOREVER! that she nuked him from orbit.

It's apparent that Q has been occasionally sliding into her DMs from at least 2019, and this is the nicest way to tell him to back off without going scorched Earth. Thirsty incels never ever listen when you try to be nice and privately tell them to fuck off. That's why stereotypes of relentless virgin nerds like Screech and Urkel existed on TV.

If you're reading this, Q: go for it. Lindsay is just playing hard to get. You're THISCLOSE to convincing her that you're the perfect man, and that she should not only boost your channel but that you should have a three way with her and Mommy Hontra.

A less sympathetic take on Ellis, is that she's changed her online schtick in the last year or so and no longer needs orbiters like Quinton constantly referencing her intellectual greatness.

Sarah Z is another one, when she was starting out she was constanatly referencing Lindsay Ellis in her videos, quoting her like she was fucking Orson Wells. In was only when Sarah Z took off that Lindsay allowed her to move into her orbit.

Anyway Fuck Quinton, I just think it's poetic that his last video was an attempt to join in the pile on on the poggers guys.

Quinton used to get worked up about people like us laughing at him. Now he's attracted the attention of a segment of online society that regularly ruin lives.

In a recent stream from Mauler they briefly talk about the shit with Quinton and they brought up an interesting point. With how desperate his dms look he was still just trying to socialize. Again it all looks desperate and cringe but any normal content creator would do something similar if another was visiting nearby. In fact if quinton was moderately attractive and not a fat neckbeard he wouldn't be getting any shit and the tweets probably wouldn't even be made. He really acted more adult-like back when he was in high school, these days all he does is hide from the problems he creates. The reason he doesn't mention his interactions with the skeptics and EFAP is because he started those conflicts. With Mumkey and SOTY he can at least say he was defending himself and he still finds creative ways to make Mumkey look good. On the other hand every bridge he has burned was his fault and only his fault.
People would like him at least a bit if he had the balls to own how much of a scumbag he is but he wants to be known as the wholesome 100 Big Garfield youtuber while snarkly shittalking the "bad side of YouTube", which conviniently is like 95% of the platform that isn't on Google's pockets.

Honestly, I just kind of feel bad for Quinton, because I see a bit of my younger self in him. Like him, I once lacked self-awareness, especially regarding dating/flirting, and even just making friends. I grew out of it eventually, and reading these DMs, that's how Quinton seems: a lonely dude that's just trying to make friends. Like, with Ellis, it doesn't even seem like he's hitting on her, so much as he just wants to hang out with someone he obviously looks up to. I think a lot of his loneliness can be attributed to his readiness to cut people out, and his own obnoxious personality, so I don't feel that bad for him, but I don't see why Ellis had to leak DMs that were over a year old, with the profile pic so badly covered up. Sure, it took him longer than most to get the hint that she wanted nothing to do with him, but it seems like he did get there, and it's not like he sent dick pics or anything; he was just acting like a cringy teenager, so this is really a non-drama to me. It's not like he was pulling a Ryan Haywood or anything, you know?

Eh, his whole public persona is based on publicly calling out people on behavior he personally finds objectionable, something others in his peer group are more than willing to also do. I can't really be too broken up about him being the target of exactly the sort of call-out he'd gladly support if he weren't the target.

I feel the bigger problem is that Quinton wants to be in two main demographics.

1) The cartoon/movie/review/internet culture demographic made up of people like Saberspark,Phelous,Linkara,Salty, etc. The types of people who make "haha funni" videos and allow their personalities to speak for themselves even if the topic has already been talked about prior. Or will be in the same sphere they'll eventually talk about.

and

2) Breadtube.

The problem is those two communities do not mix, and while I'd say it's easier to drift from 2 to 1, it's way harder going from 1 to 2. Quinton already set up his character as the self humiliating, Garfield obssessed, faggot and trying to be taken seriously about politics and hot takes the first reaction I think a majority's first thought would be something like "Didn't you used to review all the fairly odd parents live action movies? Why are you talking about politics now?"

The people who are going into political takes about Trump and LGBTQ rights issues are not going to say "Oh yeah I really care first about what Quintonreviews thinks about it this." over someone like Contrapoints or even people like The Right Opinion or Turkey Tom etc. People who from inception focused their channels in common field and even if the latter two aren't mainly political they do go into those topics from time to time.

The perfect idiom for Quinton is without a doubt "You can't have your cake and eat it too." Ellis (again she is still a cow do not forget this) gave up the title of "Nostalgia Chick" to become more involved in her own little epicenter and stopped caring about the rest of her former self to devote into one field. Sacrifices gotta be made dude, and unless your topic can fall into that category like a glove (Like TRO enjoying video games and talking about a video game focused discussion topic) you will come out not hitting your mark on both sides.

That idiom also works because Quinton is fat so it's a twofor.

I sympathize with this but I really do think he wants e-celeb more than friends. When he started wasn't he actually making videos with friends? He was anti-SJW at the peakj of it's popularity and then tried to pivot when left-wing video essays became the big thing. I have no doubt he wants friends, but he wants to be friends with "people who matter". And in his mind that can easily change with the winds of YouTube popularity.
