Jeanette is a monster, but teenagers are bad at making responsible life choices that will benefit them in the long term. Jeanette has heard Jazz say for 16 years that all he wants in life is a vagina. Jeannette has blown an enormous pile of money and seen her kid through three surgeries and it will be over her dead body if the thing seals up within two years.

I remember a story a few years ago about a teenager with a history of being a little delinquent who needed a new heart. The transplant place said that they didn't think he would be responsible in caring for his new heart and they wanted it to go to someone who would take care of it so they could get years of use out of it. The family raised a HUGE stink and said that the transplant clinic was being racist and of course this kid would be responsible. Six months after the transplant, the kid stole a car and died in a fiery wreck.

I would be super interested in hearing, say, 12-year-old Jazz talk about what having a vagina means to him. I'd guess that it's always been an abstract concept and more a marker for being a True and Honest Wammen than a thing that he sees getting actual use out of.

In retrospect, Jazz should have gone for a zero-depth procedure with the option to add a vagoo when he was older and more personally invested in having a fuck hole. (Which is going to be the 5th of never because he likes the idea of having a vagina much more than he likes the reality of having one.)

I feel like that could be sex abuse. The genitals belong to jazz so Jeanette has no business forcing her to do that. If it closes up, then so be it. If you can't be responsible enough to maintain good health for your faux vagina then you are not deserving of having one.

See this Kiwi post), which I believe is real, there is no doubt in my mind that Jeanette filled Jazz's head with all the "I'm a girl" stuff. I mean, I suspected so before - he was diagnosed before he was three, for god sake. But this definitely solidified it. She had been feeding him from a young age this narrative that he always insisted he was a girl and that his genitals are wrong. Even if he said that he is a girl, at the age of two-three this means nothing at all. "...remind her of the facts surrounding certain memories" - this can't be more obvious.

Why has she done it, I don't know; she had three other kids before him, and they were left unscathed (well... presumably). Why Jazz? I guess we can only speculate... Maybe Jazz's pregnancy or birth awaken some deeply psychological issue/condition/disorder that has been manifested this way. Pregnancy and birth can cause depression and even trigger psychosis, so who knows? It's just... so glaringly obvious that all of this comes from Jeanette, not Jazz.

Instead of just realizing this was a phase or that he was just going to be the "weird" kid, she manipulated him into think his body was "wrong".
