in most cases of amhole installation, there are no follow-up visits or doctors checking up on their test subjects. correct me if it was a different troon but i remember it being kevin who had a hard time even getting his surgeon to answer emails about pieces of skin that didn't look good or were falling off. in actual photos of neovaginas, they take forever to heal (because they are open wounds) and still end up looking disgusting because there are chunks of dead dying tissue hanging off or stitches coming apart; if you frequent the srs horrors&surgeons thread, the number 1 complaint is that it's falling apart and the surgeon refuses to see them.In my tranthopology studies, I've never actually seen a case of sepsis from a penile inversion. It seems like they would be more common, but I can't find any. Do any fellow amhole observers or medi-kiwis have info on that? I know srs surgeries are botched horribly all the time, but it doesn't seem like MTFs actually die of amhole infections. Maybe cause the penis is skin that's supposed to be outside of the body? So it's resistant to infection? And not delicate like a mucus membrane?
I can't believe I just typed all that will deserve any islamic ratings i get.
slight pl for all the medfagging but i think that we don't see cases of sepsis reported on because nobody knows that their amhole is going septic until it's too late.
