Formerly from another third world country (very close to ID), it could also just his Internet went down for abso-fucking-lutely no reason.Yes, in Indonesia if you don't pay your Internet (or Wi-Fi) bills, your ISP will shut your internet down,
I understand how daunting it can be but I just find that way of looking at it wrong, it isn't an anime series it's a group of random livestreamersSpeaking as someone who's pretty much solely focused on Hololive, there's also the fact that Nijisanji is just daunting as a concept. The JP branch alone has over 100+ individual personalities, each with their own relationship dynamics and lore. For those compelled to try to learn about everyone under the same group, it's just a lot easier to keep track of Hololive's relatively smaller numbers. It's like trying to convince people to pick up a series that has been going forever like Gintama or One Piece (which, admittedly, is hypocritical of me since I still keep up-to-date with both examples).
I would also recommend just checking out who big Ninji names like Lulu or Hannah Macchia collab with and if they seem interesting check them out. Just work it down like a chain until you have you’re own little group of ninji tubers. Like people said, there’s so many that there’s bound to be something that sticks to peopleSpeaking as someone who's pretty much solely focused on Hololive, there's also the fact that Nijisanji is just daunting as a concept. Nijisanji is kind of like a large school class, or like one of those Twitch stream teams or whatever. They all rally under the same flag but there's not as much unity, there's more noticeable cliques compared to Hololive, and a lot of the members never interact with eachother. The quality of the streamers is also lower (this is just my personal opinion though), more of a quantity approach to vtubers, although there are a few gems among their masses that I am subscribed to. I suppose that's what they're going for, really - so many vtubers that someone has to stick.Speaking as someone who's pretty much solely focused on Hololive, there's also the fact that Nijisanji is just daunting as a concept. I was a little confused because Wifi and Internet are two separate things in my head, when he said that his "Wifi" was shut down i believed his router was locked down by his ISP and could not even function as a WLANYes, in Indonesia if you don't pay your Internet (or Wi-Fi) bills, your ISP will shut your internet down,
Why is there a Ditto and Ludicolo in thereWhen in doubt, consult this. The lyrics is made up of (almost) entirely every nijisanji livers' name and / or nicknames. Choose one with the face that caught your eyes and begin from there.
I'm quite familiar with Hana Macchia's antics with her father, and I remember seeing this particular clip of Gibara reacting the moment a cricket so much as touched her tongue.I would also recommend just checking out who big Ninji names like Lulu or Hannah Macchia collab with and if they seem interesting check them out. Ludicolo because honhima is fat and the pokemon is also fat (and possibly just as retarded). Diito is the opposite, chinami is small and pink. Why is there a Ditto and Ludicolo in there
Those clips got me into Hannah. Also Pikamee is a fun watch from time to time especially since she self translates. I truly enjoyed her antics of living in Texas and working at a Taco Bell not knowing what “appreciate it” meant and kindly told a customer that she doesn’t appreciate their business.I'm quite familiar with Hana Macchia's antics with her father, and I remember seeing this particular clip of Gibara reacting the moment a cricket so much as touched her tongue.
I'm shilling Niji too hardNijisanji is kind of like a large school class, or like one of those Twitch stream teams or whatever. Hololive is more bound together, like a circle of good friends. They bump into eachother constantly in collabs, Minecraft, real life studio stuff, etc. Ask a Niji to list all Nijis, and there's no way they can do it. Ask any Holo to list all Holos and they'll be done in 5 minutes.
Yeah you're right on that.I'm shilling Niji too hard
The experiences both groups give are distinctly different and saying one is better than the other is just dumb, Niji pretty much is "one of those Twitch stream teams" while Hololive, as overplayed as the meme is, genuinely is half trying to be an idol group. They're completely different and I dislike even needing to compare them.
It's just a bunch of weebs entertaining people mate, saying the quality of their streamers is lower just sounds wrong, both Holos and Nijis are random personalities that managed to get into a group, got a popularity boost and now just stream because they feel like it, well with Holo actually having quotas.
I miss WarabedaI'm quite familiar with Hana Macchia's antics with her father, and I remember seeing this particular clip of Gibara reacting the moment a cricket so much as touched her tongue.
Damn it, I’m only on Chapter 6 of 0. Slow down Pekora.
There’s also a channel keeping track of the noteworthy Majima encounters.
The drama around the Gura family doxx is actually the lack of drama on Gura's part. Gura did a pretty damn good job covering her tracks, but there was juuuuuuuuuuust enough breadcrumbs scattered between her various old accounts they were able to track her down. You're welcome to read the major details on lolcow, but I'll sum up what I saw.I'd like to be fed some drama, like details on the Gura drama with the family dox.
I'll add my own personal reasons as to why I'm just not that into Nijisanji.. there are just too damn many of them, many of their personalities aren't as defined, and their avatars/models/rigging/whatever just seem lower quality than Hololive. They're also really late to the party when it comes to interacting with the english speaking audience. Hate on the Hololive subreaddit all you want but it is an easy way for newbies to become familiar with all the girls through the low effort but easily digestible memes and clips. The occasional Hololive girl's postings also drive engagement and fans trying to get their attention. One fun thing about Nijisanji is that because the company largely leaves them to their own devices, they occasionally organize stuff that Hololive girls never would, such as a lotion sumo contest recently that ended up with the clothes of basically everyone involved being ruined (and one girl just going home without her underwear). Also, male and female nijis stream with each other without a care cause they don't have to uphold the whole idol image thing.
Concerning specific Nijis, yeah, if your favorite has almost no one subbing them, it can be kinda rough.
That checks out with this videoThe drama around the Gura family doxx is actually the lack of drama on Gura's part. Essentially, Gura ran another Youtube channel early in the 2010's while she was still in middle/high school. Once they traced her activities back to there, there was enough harmless family/friend posting on various social media accounts they were able to nail down her details. And once they got there, they realized that she was as normal/nice as you would hope she was.
The lolcow posters thought she was so clean, there was even some in-fighting there telling people to leave her the fuck alone. Hell, they found the records of her volunteering at animal shelters for fucks sake. The running theory is Senzawa is a product of her getting high/drunk to cope with the death of her mother. So naturally, once they had everything down, the major stalkers/schizos saw to go a step further and harrass the person they presume to be her father/uncle/some older family figure. This was around 1.5 months ago or so.
Completely agree with you there. I don't see that as a reason not to like Nijisanji but I agree that they're extremely late to the party in reaching out to western audiences.Nijisanji recently took over r/Nijisanji, it used to be pretty much dead with maybe a dozen or so upvotes per topic when the admins were fans. Now liver's posts get 1-2kish upvotes so it's doing better. I've been sperging about it for the past hundreds of pages, but I hope Nijisanji EN scouts the talent well and provides actual competition. Hololive is missing out on many market demographics by sticking to the idol stuff and having to not piss off their male Japanese fanbase who don't want their idols interacting too much with male vtubers.
