Totally. Even in Blaire's videos when they're totally done up there are aspects that give it away if you think about it. Like the hands, the shoulders, etc.

But even done up, Blaire is passable at a glance. Nyk isn't, despite what the troon fetishists say. There's clearly something immediaely off about Contra, though maybe it's the fucked up facial surgery that does it. My point is I find Blaire to not seem immediately like a man even without the get up, just an uglier woman with manly features. Contra, on the other hand, totally doesn't pass without the get up even if you give him the benefit of the doubt.

Same for me. When I heard the first time of Blaire some years ago I didn't know she was trans until she said it. It's obvious now of course that I can look for manly features since I know now that she's actually trans (But this isn't the same as clocking somebody immediately like in the case of Nyk). People also like to do this when you're speaking a foreign language. As long as you don't tell them that, let's say English, isn't your native language, many people might not even realize it when your pronunciation and grammar is passable enough. As soon as you tell them that English isn't your native English, people will (subconsciously) pay more attention and might suddenly find cues that tell on you that they didn't really pick up before.

A broad face, big hands and shoulders are of course rather manly features, but there are also women who have them. There was onca a video in which Blaire and Jaclyn Glenn walked through LA (?) and asked people: "Who of us two is trans?". The ration was around 50:50. No wonder, since Jaclyn Glenn looks like a troon, even though she's biologically female:

Nyk on the other hand... he just doesn't pass as a woman. Something that clocks Nyk immediately as a man (and something which he hides in his videos) is his height:

idk, within 5 seconds of listening to one of Blaire's first videos when he shot in this shitty basement I knew he was a dude. Obviously his voice doesn't pass but even his face screams male to me. As someone else pointed out, it's that massive space between his nose and mouth, his jaw, probably brow ridge too, as well as just how huge his head is (we're not even getting into his body.) With his nose rhinoplasty'd into oblivion and all his fillers he's instantly clockable because only a tranny would have a face this busted, apart from maybe a 40 year old plastic-surgery addicted pornstar.

It's tricky for me to comment if Contra passes for the same reason I can't with the irl trans I know. I effectively 'know' what I'm looking for, same issue with blair white. I think Blaire passes quite well, her voice just sounds like she is or was a heavy smoker and is semi hidden by her accent. Naturally philsophytube is going to struggle with the sugeries and hrt as Natalie already exists which means transitioning into contrapoints is tricky. But it's fair to say Blair passes better than Contra and Natalie passes better as Contra than philsophytube.

Contra does have some instances where she does quite well though and she's definatly getting better at it over time.

She genuinly looks like a tall cute woman here. Weirdly she actually does a lot better when she goes for a more understated look were she looks less like a drag queen and more like a women trying to make her way in the world.

Personally as someone who plays for both sides the more pressing question is if I actually find any of them attractive, which is a big meh because they're all pretty annoying regardless of appearance.
I might enjoy watching Olivers mind break as his flesh contorts under the surgeries and HRT since I really liked Hellraiser.

I feel like Blaire passed better before she got FFS, she looked a lot less plastic and fake-looking. But maybe that's also because of her lip injections. Contra also has had FFS but still doesn't look that female to me, even in videos. I'm not sure what it is that he looks like, but it's not a woman

With Nyk it's not about being male or female, it's about narcissism, it's about being more feminine (read: in compliance with beauty standards) than "even" a woman can be. A lot of the pictures y'all shared of Nyk above were pre-FFS and post-FFS pictures mixed up. I always use this specific picture, because AAIK it's the only post-FFS picture of Nyk without any make up on, and here you can basically see that his FFS did not make him look more like a woman. It just gave him a leaner face which made him look younger, but not necessarily more feminine. The lower part of his face (where he had the sides of of his jaw sandpapered off to hide his jowls) is now out of proportion with the upper part of his face, giving him a kinda droopy elongated face. I guess he thinks this can be camouflaged with cheek fillers or something. Like I said, I can't wait for him to go full Juliette.
