I heard a rumor today he's trying to start his own political party. Just hearsay so far. You think he could be elected again if that were the case? I feel like the way America's looking now, it's not impossible.

Hombre just lost to a corpse and triggered some of the most drawn-out, expensive, and fruitless post-election audits the country has seen in its history - and his teflon don status has seemingly been revoked. He pissed on his supporters by achieving almost nothing that they wanted, threw them under the bus for their trouble on the sixth, and pardoned a bunch of career criminals over rowdy hooligans and whistleblowers as his parting shot. He would receive almost no support from the mainstream GOP even if Mitch doesn't try to execute the man, and he'll have almost no appeal beyond his base unless the other two options are clones of Hillary Clinton.

At the same time, many households in the US have significant traces of lead still involved in their construction, and many water supplies mix in lots of nasty runoff chemicals. So I guess anything's possible. (Not really though - check out the 1912 election for how it'll go once he kicks it off.)

He won't win at all given his pardons never involved anyone his supporters wanted to see pardoned, pardoning people who made fun of Trump supporters, actual criminals who deserved to go to jail, and people who sucked his dick enough.

There is also encouraging the protests on the 6th, which no matter how you slice it he is responsible and his piss poor leadership during COVID and the Floyd riots definitely have pissed a lot of people off.

He burned too many bridges to win and the only way he could win is if Biden killed or raped children on live TV or if his opponents were other lolcow politicians who are worse.

When the UK voted to leave the EU and most of the politicians who were elected on promises to leave the EU decided to tell their voters to eat shit and like it instead, Nigel Farage (who is also a lolcow) set up his own party. After a lot of crying about how it was going to split the conservative vote ( ), what actually happened was he brought down the government and a new government quickly decided that doing what voters wanted wasn't such a bad idea after all.

So idk, these rumors are probably bullshit, but destroying the GOP doesn't sound like the worst thing that could happen (who would even miss them? It'd be like pining for chlamydia). And, as a longtime fan of the Trump Cinematic Universe, I'm hoping for new content and more drama. Looking forward to this thread hitting 1,000 pages.

Apparently he was actually involved with Ross Perot's Reform Party years ago, and had actually been planning a presidential election run for a long time.

Doubt it. He's done. He's banned from social media, which is incredible.

Honestly, if the content he was banned for wasn't disproportionate to other content which is given fair game on social media, then that might be a legitimate complaint; though I'm sure that banning him was a good PR move if nothing else.

I don't think that could work for America like it did for Britain because Farage was still well liked and didn't throw people under the bus, and also Trump did more damage to America than Farage did to Britain plus Farage is actually smart at government.

As far as actually accomplishing anything goes, during his Presidency, Trump kicked off the boarder wall, and appointed conservative Judges to the Supreme Court.

At this point, Trump "losing" is more of just a source of butthurt to people who just liked the fact that he pissed off liberals/leftists.

For that matter I have no clue why so-called "Alt-Right / White Supremacists" supported him to begin with (the boarder wall was probably the biggest thing that appealed to them, or just the fact that he offended liberals/leftists who claimed he made "racist comments"), given that he publicly denounced them various times, and they had no reason to believe he was actually willing or capable of pulling off a "fascist coup" to begin with.

(Fringe groups have supported others who didn't share their views before anyway, such as some white nationalists/supremacists supporting Ron Paul, or New Black Panthers supporting Obama, and so on).

Yeah, he's a little obscure, but you can actually find content on him dating from the earlier days of the Internet. He's a 74 year old politician with rage seeking an 18 to 243 year old president-free country that he can turn into an empire from the ground-up. Unfortunately, he has had his efforts thwarted time and again by dastardly trolls.

Donald actually sat at a table in front of the Capitol holding up a sign that read; "I am a 74-Year Old God Emperor, seeking a Single Country Companion," but he was confronted by Joe Biden. In Donald's words, this is what happened;

"Then, in Mid-November, the Quote/Unquote "President Elect of the United States", Joe Biden, approached me and pulled my sign away from me and told me "You're NOT ALLOWED TO FIND AN EMPIRE HERE." MY HEART WAS SHATTERED that very moment."

He then attempted to get his Empire Attraction Sign to be read by some folks at the Capitol, and even had some honorable White Knights on his side trying to help him do that. But, instead of completing his Empire Quest, the senate and the house had different ideas. Again, this is how Trump described the ordeal:

He was basically the equivalent of a "shock jock" like Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Bill Maher, or Ed Schultz winning the presidency, and saying the same kind of stuff while in office that they do on their talk shows.

If Bill Maher runs for presidency and wins, that would probably be the closest "liberal" equivalent to having Trump for President.

There’s been articles in recent weeks about Ivanka looking to run for some political office in Florida. That was always Donald’s plan: run until he leaves and then push Ivanka as his successor to Trumpism. Setting up a new party would conflict with that bigly. Ivanka would have trouble getting elected as a dog catcher let alone a US Senator so it’s a moot point anyway. Trump never bothered to cultivate anyone outside of Jared and Ivanka so why would he change his mind now?
