Holoslaves exploding is a good thing to happen. Not because it "exploded", but because it now created splinter groups as a result. Now that they are more disunited than ever, the potential for drama and slapfight to happen will increase tenfold because these kind of people have such level of tribalism they won't hesitate to air the dirty laundry of those they hated.
That said, I hope this development convinced Cover not to take any of these idiots for EN 2nd gen, if it does exist. And if I meant Cover, I also meant our reaper Karen as well

Considering I originally found the Farms from DSP bullshit, this is a great bit of deja vu regarding his ridiculous reasons for ignoring viewers choice poll results on his shit forums except here the vote brigading is real. Hopefully Coco realizes what's up and keeps her stream chat members only. Most people who don't pay just talk amongst themselves in the hololive discord anyway so it's no huge loss if she keeps chat locked down behind the paywall.

EDIT: Just saw she caught them. Those bugs can get fucked.

It is insanely difficult to lie consistently about anything and if Subaru was lying then it would be called out almost immediately.

Regarding the indie drama, I honestly thought the powder keg wouldn't be lit for a while either but here we are. Hopefully it'll get the clout chasers out of the fucking scene and people who actually want to work hard at it will stick around...but yeah, when you get a bunch of horny teens acting completely unfiltered it's bound to lead to some bullshit happening.

Funnily enough Domo seems like a downright upstanding person compared to these fucks, but all he's doing is being a spineless jackass and gladhanding anyone he deals with for his own clout. I guess you can't groom kids when you're too busy kissing ass.

I'm all for a Holostars EN. It'd be a nice change of pace from watching the cute anime girl play games to chilling out with the anime bro. If I were Cover I'd highly look into bilingual JP/EN speakers at least for the first few. Once the one month ban is lifted, have them collab with Holostars JP and HoloEN. Increase both Stars markets at the same time cause I feel Holostars EN would start off more popular than JP just from the simple fact that overseas fans don't care about the whole "pure idol" shit and would be fine with HoloEN collabing with StarsEN.

The original Stars suffered from terrible marketing and are now behind YAGOO in subscribers since early Coved were fucking stupid in thinking they could get the fujoshi market with them; if the stars got clipped more often then rhey would be doing just as well as the main girls. Astel is a sucker for Disney songs but since nothing he does is ever archived or clipped nobody will see how good he is at singing them.

And it appears there's really just one person who spammed there. However, since Star's stream like Roberu doesn't have that much of chat traffic like the girls did, the spam is way too noticeable
Also, interestingly, the spammer used the girls' fan group name as the name of the channel. If this is chinks doing (which it most likely is) it's very retarded

I would say it's more difficult than that. Myself and a few others here are disillusioned with the scene and still find it difficult to at least get somewhat consistent numbers. In my case it's due to actual overwork and possible serious illness so I was forced to take a break but other than that, you are right about consistency being key. It's just that the market is oversaturated with vtubers on both platforms (in addition to regular streamers) that people getting into it need to have a proper mindset going in.

I'm not gonna link Calli's Marshmallow reading but all the advice she gives about becoming a creator holds very true: it isn't for everyone but if you say you're gonna do something then fucking do it. She may not have a say on the next batch of recruits but she is watching, and Cover probably is watching too. They may only stop at one generation of English vtubers if they realize these chucklefucks from overseas can't maintain kayfabe or go on for way too much about their personal politics.

Y'ain't lyin'. Tiredchuuba may hate the scene as much as I do but they're putting in far more work than nearly every OC PFP Twitter account which should count for fucking something.

This video actually reminded me of something. For as dumb as the whole "exposing coco" thing ended up being. The reason a video like this even exist with Botan and Coco is because Kson loves wearing addidas clothes and that info is so well known. Either that, or Coco said on stream that she like wearing them.

The people involved with this whole thing were footnotes-of-footnotes, unfortunately. Also, Domo had relinquished ownership of the Holoslaves server (he was the original owner) and moved on from that place looooooong ago by now.

When I said his inner circle needs to start infighting, I'm talking people like Artemis, Io, Kani, Valefor, etc. The big names. Once that happens, he's gonna be in a very tough spot.
