At some point people were discussing a discrepancy between the percentage and amount, in pounds, that she said a doctor wanted her to lose and what she constantly states her current weight is, that being roughly 400lbs. If I recall correctly, what the doctor said suggested she was in fact much closer to if not hovering right around 500lbs, lining up nicely with what we see in that account.

That was me. She said that the doctor wanted her to lose 8% of her body weight, which she also said was 40 lbs. 8% of 400 is only 32 lbs, but 8% of 500 is 40.

Of course, 8% is a weird number. Wouldn't they tell her to aim for 10%? In that case, 40 lbs is 10% of 400.

She's so stupid and dishonest that it's really hard to tell if she said 8% but meant 10%, or if she accidentally revealed she weighs 500 lbs, or if she made the entire thing up out of whole cloth.

I don't really believe anything about her these days, but I don't really disbelieve it, either. This is a perfect example -- could be 400, could be 500, who the hell even knows? TLDW: Stephanie Buttermore: a fitness competitor who lost enough bodyfat that for about a year she lost her period (oh yeah, while also being underweight she was doing cancer research, pursuing a PhD, and actually being a caregiver to her mother). In order to regain her menstrual cycle, she did an "all in" diet - which was eating a minimum of 2500 calories a day (she averaged 5000 in the first month) in order to reset her hunger and satiety cues because she had been eating at 50-60% satiety for years. In doing this, she realized that she might be sacrificing her youtube fitness career and being teased for not being lean. She gained about 40+ pounds during this process and actually, legitimately honoring her hunger. The videos are the 1 week, 4 month, and 1 year progress. It's an interesting watch.

January is one of the worst months for YT revenue, especially after the glut from holidays/December.
