It's a camping chair and probably a pull out sofabed. Probably takes it out when he goes bus spotting/boy bothering.

While it's illegal to be gay, Iran has state funded sex change surgery, so some effeminate men end up living as wife #4, never allowed to leave the house, in a burka. So basically a life nothing like what western troons would put up with.
