Phil slipping up and saying he gets food delivered on his day off makes me think he never leaves his house at all, He probably uses Postmates or Instacart to have his groceries delivered on his day off too. The way he talks like the whole world is out to get him makes me think he suffers from Agoraphobia.
Oh he goes out, I have no doubt of that. It's just that he also reads the Farms as obsessively as I do, only his mood is powerfully affected by what is written here, and we've been talking a lot lately about him ordering out on days when he supposedly goes shopping.

As for him thinking the whole world is out to get him, don't fall for that King of Suffering horse shit. He knows exactly how fucking irrelevant he is, and his reclusive nature is entirely because he has learned over the last 15 years that he doesn't get to be a dick and get away with it. THAT is the reason he lives like a hermit. He doesn't like people, but he would be tolerating them if Tokido hadn't eliminated him at EVO 2005 and the rest of the FGC had tolerated his online shit-talking. And he knows it. Guarantee you that when he has nightmares of re-living his past, that's the one that leaves his sheets the most soaked with pig sweat.

Vampires have been closely associated with insects literally since Dracula. Part of Dracula's control of Renfield was through sending flies, moths, and spiders to Renfield that Renfield would then eat. Since then vampires turning into swarms of various insects has been fairly common in 20th century vampire fiction
Vampirism is often used as an analogue for disease, particularly of the sexually-transmitted variety, as the process of turning a victim is described as sublime, ecstatic, or otherwise akin to an orgasm in literature. The presence of insects as a common sign of contagion, infection and disease in media (though not necessarily accurate as often as in reality) I'm sure I don't need to elucidate.

We have any intel on this retard? I want to know if he's being serious or making fun of Phil's need for hand-holding.

Either way, I hope Phil keeps running from Divinity because it's funny to see a grown man so scared of a video game.

Phil is playing the management minigame in Yakuza Like A Dragon.

He took out a one billion dollar loan at 5% interest and he makes less than 10% of that each payment and is in the red. Thankfully, the game lets you make late payments in exchange for a fee. Phil uses this to upgrade everything (spend all the money he has) and continue to make late payments.

He plays finances in video games just like real life.
It's so true that even if this worthless bastard won the lottery, more than the Machinima jackpot in 2011, he'd end up in bankruptcy all over again.

He's currently playing Divinity 2, so maybe he wants to help. But given how he acts both in and outside of chat, I think he is just making fun of him. And if he does give 'advice', it'll probably just mess Phil up.

He has a crown next to his name. Whether he's making fun of Phil or not, he's given him money. He should be named and shamed.

It's weird to see him reference Papavera, someone who has dropped loads of cash, time, and effort into DSP, only for Phil to just drop the game he loved, having never actually cared about it in the first place, and then never brought it up again. Same exact scenario with Morrowind, too. It's like saying "Hey Phil, can't wait to waste a bunch of money on a playthrough you won't finish!"

Did phil ever spend a full stream in the menus in minecraft?

I heard he just kept leveling up and selling items to pay to level up again. Thought no he must have done something else. Went to the channel and yeah nothing but menus for a full stream

Has there ever been an instance of Phil complaining about lag in an offline game with a wired controller? I realize that's an autistic combination but the recent lag sperging makes me wonder - he does complain about it A LOT, and he is stupid enough to forget that he is offline when he's lying.

To help your search, it was when he played through the story mode of each Street Fighter in the SF30 collection (I think). In Street Fighter 2 Turbo, he lost to the CPU and instinctively went to blaming "lag" despite the fact that he was, of course, offline. He caught himself and, if I recall, tried to get out something about offline lag before trailing off.
Here you go. He gets really worked up over AI DeeJay kicking his ass.
