The fearmongering on this site about an endless march of troonery isn't true unless you spend your whole life on Twitter.

The only reason more people haven't hit peak trans is troonery of the most insane variety is almost exclusively online. The more the fad takes off, the more people will heat peak trans. People will just not put up with hulking male ogres endlessly beating the fuck out of obviously smaller, physically weaker women, stealing their scholarships, and otherwise cheating them. It will probably take a series of dramatic and obvious injustices before it seriously starts receding (probably to be replaced with something even dumber and more crazy).

Does the UK have non-elected Human Rights tribunals across the country capable of the extrajudicial levying of fines against citizens that if not obeyed can result in actual jail-time? Canada is a fucking joke for a variety of reasons but its permission to facilitate and fund provincial HRTs (heh) across the country is a national embarrassment that even people working for them admit is a total Kafka-esque joke.

People have been convicted for trivial nonsense like getting a dog to do a Hitler salute, but those are in regular courts. It's more a comment on just how far troons have gone that even the UK thinks it's a bit much.

Rugby banned troons from the sport last year, though I'm not sure if any particular incident caused that, and the Olympics imposed a testosterone limit on women. I've heard from someone else that the main risk is in college sports, since every professional sport has either taken action to stop this already before it even became an issue or will do so as soon as it becomes one.

The women's rugby leagues in the UK and Australia have had referees that refused to oversee matches with troons in them, because the troons were causing injuries, which somehow put the referees at risk of litigation.
