I'm betting a lot of those subs are ones from people who subbed but stopped watching or caring. I'm subbed to Sargon and haven't watched a single video of his in 5 years. The numbers alone are hardly damming as most youtubers barely have more than 25% sub engagement and get most views from the algorithm pushing videos around.

That being said Quintons stale ass content is why he's not growing his channel at all. Why watch Quinton when you could watch someone more entertaining or insightful? He's even more boring and annoying than current era nostalgia critic.

I haven't subbed to a new channel in years, and similarly, I haven't unsubbed from any of the Minecraft youtubers I used to watch in middle school either. Pretty much everything I watch comes from my recommendeds (which IIRC are based on recent views and search results) which actually are surprisingly not shit. And the new Youtuber line is to whine about how 95% of their viewers aren't subbed to their channel. Which suggests to me that a LOT of people share my behavior on Youtube, and similarly suggests that if a channel's been around for years, a lot (if not a majority) of their subs are dead subs who haven't watched a video in years.

Knowing how quintons mods and people on his discord apparently do "Kiwifarms updates" for him mentioning stuff as minor as @Woke Blue Muttlema changing her pfp, I'm sure they have been freaking the fuck out today with the thread being linked on the front page. Hope more will be leaked in the future because I'm sure it will be some amazing spergouts.

Leaks can’t come super quick because his mods are probably actively purging the discord of suspected moles. The leaker has to keep a certain profile to avoid suspicion. I would LOVE to see what the mod chats look like right now. We’ll never know.

Reading some of the Discord leaks, it's baffling to me how a grown man cares so much about internet strangers complimenting him, to the point where he begs people on twitter and discord to say nice things about him. I can't fucking imagine me or any of the men in my life begging people for compliments like a high school girl. Seriously, this is the same behavior I see from 18 year old girls I follow on twitter, it's like Quinton is transitioning right before my eyes.

hey Quinton, other YouTubers who are respected and liked by people usually get compliments from those people, and they don't even have to ask for those compliments! Maybe you should just try being a great person and let other people do the talking for you.
