Jimbelina was always destined to be a truly great cow. But holy shit, the acceleration in the last 6 months has been actually mind-blowing. This is not just true for Jim though.

So many cows, old and new, have accelerated down the hole at unprecedented rates. I believe it is the mixture of this prolonged (unnecessary) quarantine and a particularly volatile election that has acted like fucking steroid level growth accelerant in these cows.

Lot to unpack as they say with fatty ding dongs comments about my ancient and complex people

1)The idea that the British are somehow inherantly nastyer than other cultures is patently absurd. at worst we're cold and unaffectionate but we're choir boys compared to a lot of the world which Jim would be in deep shit for saying the same about.
2) if Jim thinks that's a genocide he's a fucking idiot, at very worst it's institutional pogrom more honestly from a pro-trans perspective it's a nasty piece of obstructive leglislation by cat lady terfs for cat lady terfs, to fuck with trans teens. it's hard to comment on how few people give a shit about transgender in the uk one way or the other. I can't imagine how self-contained jims social circle is to think this.
3) What actually bothers me is this is the point where jim gets snooty. The country has been spiraling into Hell since around 2010 as the infrastructure collapses and jobs drain out. Where the fuck was that high horse when the food banks opened, our...sorry my people starved and suicide rates climbed jim?
4)Jim doesnt seem to be aware his lived experiance isnt universal, it's also worth noting his cushy us life is due to his increased affluence rather than any inherant nobility in americans. It also speaks depths that Jim never considers systematic poverty might the cause of his woes, Believe it or not but people at the bottom of the ladder tend to be quite nasty and desperate. He paid for a shrink the US didnt give him one and all his hispter middle class sjw buddies don't represent the equivelant upbringing in the states.
5) It's pretty funny that Jim's caught in the Bob chipman 'gas the mayo ghouls because people were mean to me when I was young' mindset despite his pretensions of Socialism or anarchism.

I think that's actually when he stopped being worth paying attention to as an actual critic or commentator- when he fucked up that review so bad that he ended up having to try and get metacritic to undo it at 4AM.

It was bad enough when he stopped writing and just did video reviews (I always thought the written reviews were superior) but then after Hellblade he pretty much gave up on the concept of reviews altogether. From there on he turned increasingly to signalling his own virtue or attacking the 'industry' rather than analyzing a game on its merits. And while I don't mind listening to someone rail on ubisoft, I'd rather it be in the context of why their games suck instead of why a company isn't socially conscious enough or made a tweet that offended someone.

Funnily enough gender specials aren't exactly a big topic of discussion for the regular people in the UK. The working class guys in old pit/mill towns aren't discussing how best to wipe out the trans menace. No one gives a fuck and isn't that true tolerance? For the most part the chavs don't even give a fuck about the gays anymore.

The problem is Jim (and his co-whingers) are so detached from the UK they have to view everything through and American lens. I had a friend who went full down the BLM rabbit hole last summer pointing out all these stats of evil cops hunting Black men, they got pissed off and blocked me when I pointed out they were using American stats and the UK stats are completely different. The same comes when they start comparing our government to Trump without realising our popular right wing is to the left of the Democrats.

Without checking, the UK police killed something like 4 people in 2019, all of which were active terrorists or presented an immediate threat.

They just go to died in police custody or the ever popular "muh search rates".

Slight PL but one I've made on this site before I used to work for the police in the UK, a "positive" search was recorded as one in which you arrested the person you searched. If you gave them a ticket or just confiscated the stuff then it was recorded the same as finding nothing. All the push to "justify" searching "BAME" people just mean that if you found something you had to arrest them because otherwise you'd get shit for it. Which sucked because my go to for "personal use" amounts of drugs for anyone was to confiscate it and send them on their way but I couldn't do that anymore.

British sjws are dumber and more obnoxious than Us one's because they have even less emphasis on Class conciousness. The Country is dying and the under/working class are both fucked but trans toilet issues are somehow more pressing because a hack author and her terf buddies managed to shit on roughly 0.1 of 0.6 of the population tops.
