Ok no, Destiny is not a libsoc much less a demsoc. The only reason he sometimes calls himself a 'demsoc' is because he has surface-level agreement with them on the fact that there should be a welfare state and that sort of stuff, but if you listen to any of his debates he's quite clearly a neoliberal for the most part and always opposes the abolishment of capital and markets.

For a long time I've thought the "Californians are going to turn Texas into Los Angeles/San Francisco" fears where overhyped. Obviously, Californians are emigrating to Texas, but I had just assumed that these were people from east or central California, and the average American, not understanding the cultural divide that exists between the heavily red inland regions and heavily blue coastal regions, turned a molehill into a mountain. Now, I'm really starting to pivot on that view. Destiny is basically the worst type of Californian. Non-native, cosmopolitan, hedonistic, completely unconcerned with local politics, but obsessed with federal level politics. I guarantee Destiny couldn't tell me who Zev Yaroslavsky is, and his knowledge of Los Angeles mayors probably begins with Garcetti or Villaraigosa.
You see, the problem with people like Destiny really isn't that they're liberal, that's only a symptom of the issue. The issue is that they have no investment in their community, they have no loyalty to it. When things get bad, they just pick up and move. They are a rootless, selfish kind of person. That is not what the inland Californian is.
Point is, it really does seem like the coastal Californians are the ones emigrating to Texas. Inland Californians, for all the problems their communities may be facing, are invested in them. They do genuinely care about themselves, their families, their communities, and their country. Destiny, and the often non-native Californians like him that live on the coast, don't care about anyone or anything but themselves. They will gladly move to Texas after selfishly destroying their own community, until they ruin their newfound Texan communities, after which they will just move to another state they have yet to destroy, maybe Georgia, maybe North Carolina, who knows.
To any Texans reading this, I wish you luck. Subjugate, ostracize, and disenfranchise these people as much as legally, or pragmatically, possible. Don't listen to them, don't even try to debate them. They are masterful subversives. You don't try to argue with a subversive, just like you don't try to block a strongman's punch. You side step them and throw them off balance. If you ever start to wonder if people like Destiny's way is the right way, just remember that they are fleeing a community that they have atomized and destroyed, while your communities are still intact.

The therapist basically told her to get a grip, consider if the criticism is legitimate, find new friends and preferably distance herself from streaming which seems like pretty sound advice. I still wonder what these people get from having a public therapy session except clout. Having my most personal feeling televised seems like stuff from nightmares.
And the look might just be drugs. She did openly say that doing shrooms is one of her pastimes. Funnily enough as I was writing this, she said that she pity fucks people. I don't really follow Dr. K but she is definitely one of the more obviously fucked people he had on. Apparently her old therapist tried to have sex with her. You can say that it's all gay whore streamer kayfabe, but remember that from the leaks she was not afraid to insinuate that Destiny was abusive, belittled her/argued her out of her right to consent to other women being involved in their relationship, that she was AFRAID of him and then when everything came out she threw this retard who she overshared this shit with under the bus. This bitch is a crazy, vapid whore who is willing to project to her fans and other streamers that all she amounts to is a hole that gets fucked. She is willing to say publicly that she is happy to have her fans run a train on her and she isn't even aware of the implications of what can happen out of a statement like that. Melina definitely seems like a simple soul with an eroded concept of what is healthy behavior. Hard drugs, lack of drive/ambition, free sex and openness for anyone to take advantage of her do not make for a long and satisfying existence. It makes me wonder how people like her are even moderately successful because she's sailing through life on autopilot. Wranglers are her only hope now but this could've been solved if her parents were actually somewhat active in her life.
And no, therapists indeed won't help. The last one tried to sex her and she made this one reconsider his life choices to the point he didn't even propose the customary meditation round.
