I don't know if this applies to all transgender people but I feel this whole trend has something to do with an escapism urge. As someone who has witnessed Jim's fall in its entirety and also familiar with many e-celebs who suffered the same fate I'm really starting to notice a pattern.

Stage one: be part of a niche and solitary hobby.
Stage two: Get involved in the community online.
Stage three: Let your online hobby slowly take over your real social circles.
Stage four: Lose grip with reality.
Stage five: try to justify the said loss of touch with reality by deciding it's only because you're of a different gender or something. Doesn't even have to be transgenderism, can be specialgender, fat acceptance, sometimes even hardcore feminism or political lesbianism.
Stage six: Externalize your own inner suffering by lashing out at people around you for "not legitimizing you".

But, inevitably, the victim starts to see its suffering as a necessity because if nobody oppresses them, they still suffer and eventually have to actually look for inward reasons as to why their life sucks. That's why Jim described his first crossdressing adventure as scary yet "it feels just right". But their ego won't let them admit they fucked themselves by ruining their real relationships and then pumping up with hormones, getting into a weird politically motivated or non-monogamous relationship or damaging their own life in any other physical or psychological way. And eventually, when everyone has been blamed, when they have completely flushed their social circles of everyone but the most staunch yesmen their unconscious can no longer handle the stress and eventually the person does the flip.

So, when will Jimette anhero xirself? Could be a year, could be two or ten. But I feel he's narcissistic enough to let his ego carry him through pretty far (with great suffering). But honestly, by that point he will be such a shell of a man (like Chris in some ways) that death would probably be preferable.

Why anyone would want Jim Sterling as a GF, regardless of what this blob person has between his legs, I can't imagine. The supreme gentleman is a different story, but I think the end result would've been the same for him, even if he did lose his virginity through his neghole.

Sterling is a fatass and already has a lot of health problems. He also was (and probably still is) abusing pain pills. He is also 37 years old, which isn't "at a death door", but he is past his prime. HRT is going to screw his already not perfect health even further, so he doesn't even have to kill himself.

Jim hated his parents which is why he changed his name from Stanton to Sterling.
