Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

Two years going on three of this bullshit, if that is not a statement about how useless their lives are I don't know what is. And D.C is now beginning to get cancelled because he defend Quintin Flynn for getting Metoo'd, sussing that they may be getting bored of Vic except for his core haters at this point. However it really goes to show that there is no such thing as good will among these people.

Frankly these Lolcows are getting more and more boring as time goes on.
Having a laugh stops when you blink and realize hambeasts can ruin your life nowadays, and with petty fuckin' tweets/posts at that. Noticing a somewhat rampant trend of faked hate-crimes and #MeToo'ings since say... 2015 there abouts.

The only way Vic will get any kind of VA work is if an independent studio (independent, as in not attached to the cliques) hires him for.
But I agree.
Even Nick said Vic's career was toast in the beginning.
The lawsuit was to get compensation for that loss.
It most certainly is and just even having been accused is enough to lose a lot of business. For a lot of places during this hashtag movement phase in the world, even if proven those accusations were false is enough to lose a lot of things in life.

So question I follow Mela Lee on Twitter and i see she still follows Vic. So is she not kickvic?, I'm assuming not if she's following him
Unless she's said anything, I doubt it. I don't think she even has any connections or close acquaintances with the Funi-clique or nothing, so that's not gonna bother her. I don't even know if she's worked near or with Vic since Vampire Knight tbh, and that was ten years ago.

On the topic of gay pants man, they released the trailer for the Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe JoJo movie.

(Comparison clip with Vic in it: https://youtu.be/-SgHf4ZHTwg?t=20)

Apparently it's not Vic, though it sounds similar. Assuming he gets past appeals, more damages, anyone?
I heard someone say that this is Todd voicing Rohan here. If so, more slaps in the face hiring Vic's friends to take his parts.

Vic did say he was getting contacts for roles but was too depress to answer at the deposition. But after tcpa I guess that ruined things.

While they were allies of convenience (both got metoo'd both got screwed over by Monica, both hired Ty) Vic did say in his deposition that he and Todd clash.

We only come off as pro-Vic because we're sympathetic to his plights and have gathered enough evidence to prove he's the victim and the defendants are lying two-faced whores. We on this site document what we find online, and as a result, we can easily cross-examine behaviors and facts and the like to determine who's lying or telling the truth and then come to our own conclusions on the matter.

If Vic were to suddenly find himself in lolcow territory, we'll make fun of him, too. We tease about his gay pants and just how much of a puppy he is but it's in good fun. Mocking liars is also in good fun since no one's being physically threatened over it. Grow a thicker skin or get off the Internet if you let words spouted by anonymous losers on the Web get to you.
I assume most Kiwis aren't psychopaths, and would feel a bit of empathy when a good man gets his life destroyed by evil people. All evidence shows Vic to be a good, if not perfect, man, and to the defendants being utterly loathsome. And that's the point. This wasn't a Vic fanclub that defended him as a kneejerk reaction. This was a forum known for researching things to shit (just look at Nontransferable's post history). And that research strongly suggests Vic has not done what the defendants say he did, and that Monica/Jamie/Ron/Funimation are pieces of shit.

And Vic's not even that interesting, in terms of Kiwi Farms fare. With his life literally burning down around him, he had every opportunity (and right) to tard rage all over twitter, but he was the most well behaved person involved in this whole mess, period. The only thing you can make fun of him for is his choice in trousers and his geekiness. To be honest, those aren't that entertaining.

Meanwhile Ron can't go a day without tweeting Vic Man Bad, Monica claimed to have called homeland security on schmucks who just wanted answers, Jamie is still a general purpose bitch, and Funimation is basically a Series Of Unfortunate Events as of late. Of course we'll make fun of them.

I mostly agree with this except the Funimation part.
Save for the COVID cutbacks and the Chris Thurman incident, they've had a successful start to 2021 by moving into a larger office and purchasing Crunchyroll.
Rooster Teeth fits your description more.

Series of Unfortunate Events is about the villains getting away with evil shit at the end while the Baudelaire orphans are continuously left in the dark about what's going on and finding themselves in worse and worse scenarios, but still have that silver lining of always having each other to lean on.

So it's kinda true. FUNimation might be more like the VFD of SoUE.

That lying little shit...

These faggots are on spurge overload.Guess the appeals wait has them shitting bricks at this point. Just put them all in a steel cage and let them fight to the death,
It's because they've become so invested in Chupp's objectively bad ruling that any appeals ruling stating otherwise will break them and throw them into an existential crisis. EDIT: And I don't think it's a bad ruling because it went against Vic. If Chupp had sided with Vic, but had given the same bullshit reasoning, it still would've thought it smelled like shit.

If Vic goes 0-17 even on appeals, I can just tell myself that 2021 is just a continuation of 2020, the justice system sucks, and that sometimes the bad guys win.

If there's a partial reversal KV simply won't be able to process it.

They'll move the goalposts like all leftists.

So much bullshit in those threads.

Where is the proof that Vic did panels with UmbrellaGuy, HeroHei et al? At Anime Matsuri, Vic only had the weekend panel to himself while HeroHei, TUG, Nick et al had their own panels separately. Oh, and God forbid Vic expresses gratitude for Nick, one of the few guys who most likely prevented him from being buried six feet deep. I'm sorry but smoking cigars with a friend or a sharing photos with some YouTube user at a convention in Tennessee isn't "hanging around who do harassments", dipshit.

To the asshole who says that we should read the transcript ourselves and "not let Nick tell you what to believe", fuck you. You and lawtwitter buddies posted, altered and redacted portions of the deposition transcripts on Twitter to paint Vic in a bad life while Nick uploaded all three deposition videos in their unedited entirety for the world to see. Why would anyone want to read portions of a fucking 300-page transcript out of context when they can watch the entire version of the depositions on YouTube and draw their own conclusions? Also, people have the option to skip and mute Nick's commentary and fast forward to the testimonies. I'm sorry that YouTube doesn't turn people into idiots like Twitter does.

And I love the imbecile who says that the Kiwis were expecting the case to be a slam dunk. Uh, no. Only the most fervent ISWV nitwit believed it was a slam dunk. Many Kiwis were hoping that it would get through TCPA, but still prepared for the worst. That's different. What we did not expect was an incompetent judge treating the TCPA hearing like some kind of trial, hence why everybody (including the defendants) expressed befuddlement.

"They think a lot of things but understand very little" -Dee, the same ugly worm who suggested Vic commit suicide and threw a fit when almost everyone had no idea who this Brad VA guy was.

I don't think anyone who isn't a retard was confident of much more than that it stated a prima facie case that should have at least gone beyond TCPA. Nobody had much in the way of predictions beyond that, such as what it might look like after discovery. Everyone, including Nick, thought it would obviously be an uphill climb in any kind of jury trial, especially if it had to be to a standard of actual malice.
