Greetings rrats, I come here bringing tidings from the world of casual vtuber viewing telling you that I think Amelia's Mario Galaxy stream was really comfy and I miss Gura's MuseDash streams. Hopefully she gets the chance to stream some rhythm games again.

also I may or may not have just spent the past half hour looking into the details of gura's roommate only to conclude that it's probably illegitimate and just an unrelated person assumed to be her because of her voice sounding slightly similar and real name seeming close to HER old username

to be honest back then. looking at that i dont thinking as she is a little kid, but interesting take is she is content creator even before sen, cause there one fanart at least hanging on her wall + there one comment pointing out "i remember followiing *insert channel* to make one of those toys" . some MLP toys or something and back at stream saying she want to play that barbie game and connecting the dot from that vid itself, just thinking "oh beside that drunkard persona, she does like some girly thing"

These are apparently the kind of videos she used to do before sen. I don't know what age she could be though

To be honest it's hard to say. She almost sounds older in that video than she does now, the implication is either:
a) something went weird with her voice in her teenage years​
b) she's really, really good at faking her voice​
c) they got the wrong person, sometimes the breadcrumb trail is just dirt​

I can't say which it is. The first one seems implausible, I've never heard of a case where someone's voice got higher. The second one implies she has a great vocal range and doesn't slip up when drunk or stressed or singing. It's a little more possible since I can't find an instance of her reaching deep into either end of her range, except for screaming, but that doesn't really count. The third would require a great deal of coincidence to work, but it can't be properly disproven unless someone confirms the dox.

I'm inclined towards (b) since nearly a decade of content creation makes it possible, but I'm not ruling out the possibility that it's the wrong person. Whatever the case she's certainly an exceptional individual, in the positive sense for once.
 
Congratulations, fellas, for finding out why even the chans hate doxfags. So much so, in fact, that whenever a dox channel or video is posted there’s almost always a push to get them nuked. It's probably B but I've considered option C. I didn't see whatever dox the lolcow.farm dug up on her but from what I've seen people talk about it two things struck me as weird:
1) Her mom supposedly being dead. Gura's talked about her 'mommy shark' quite a few times but never in the past tense and never in an even wistful sort of way.
2) Her being born in '98. The references and jokes she makes, plus her general sense of humor, always made me think she was older than that.

Both of those are probably pretty weak and stupid, admittedly.

I too fell down the rabbit hole and just kept digging until I hit the void. Those were the exact same feelings I had when I saw that video. I don't think I'll be digging anymore...time to just sit back and enjoy cutie anime girls who have nice voices.

She, like pretty much every holo who has touched the game, forgot to turn off smart steering and probably didn't realize it was a thing. Only Ina has shown some competence at the game outside the JP branch with Aqua and Suisei actually being good at the game.
