No, Rusty isn’t going to go the way of the wang, at least not publicly (and I doubt privately, either). A sizable part of his obsession with hot, famous chicks is the idea that he would be seen with them in public. Many of us lesbians (can't speak for ghey men), do not live in Clown World. Most of us live in reality where LGBBQWTF is not the norm. It simply is not in the numbers. I personally think that we'll look back at this time as the eye of the hurricane. He's getting older and the urge to settle down hits people in their 30's, even if they weren't raised Mormon and have the expectation of pairing off (if not necessarily marrying, in Russ's case) quite young. Probation and Covid are also cramping his style, so he's not as actively shitty as he doubtlessly currently wants to be.

As time passes and the various restrictions on him lift, the cognitive dissonance between Russ's self-concept of being a hip, talented, studly, awesome 9/10 and his reality of being a constantly rejected, miserably unsuccessful nobody is only going to get worse. Either he'll accept his lot in life (unlikely) or just become more embittered and delusional, possibly even paranoid about the people "holding him back". If the latter, there's a good chance he'll start taking it out on the people he thinks have no right to deny him the life and success and sex he legitimately thinks he's entitled to.

Yeah, the drama will be funny, but before you give me rainbows understand that I'm not just predicting hilarity here. I'm predicting more real-life victims, some of whom might be hurt a lot more than Ericka was.

More people are murdered with knives and blunt force weapons (hammers, baseball bats, wrenches, etc.) than are murdered with firearms in the US. And it's chiefly because they are cheap, easy to find, and easy to use. While I don't think Russhole killing someone is likely, it IS a definite possibility given his entitlement issues and struggles with impulse control. Thankfully Russ doesn't seem to like firearms, the more legal trouble he gets in the more difficult it becomes for him to legally get a firearm, and he's physically weak and terrified of IRL confrontation. Most women are physically stronger than he is and would hopefully be able to fight him off if it came down to it. Like I said, he isn't likely to get physical, but it's still a definite possibility.

Women are socially conditioned to be passive and nice, especially to people like russ, who on the surface, appear to be harmless and sped. If I didn't know what a creep he was, I'd probably be polite at first. I'm generally a nice person, unfortunately. The good news is Russ has indirectly taught me to be less accommodating in general.
