Indeed, knowing Japanese is a pretty good skill for someone working under a Japanese company, even if she's part of the EN branch. She knows hiragana and a little bit of katakana, so I think she already gave it a go in the past but wasn't motivated to continue. Hopefully, she decides to stick with it for a while and sharpens her communication skills for future collabs.

To be fair Kiara is probably the second least gamergorl out of the five of them, with Mori being the close first. She knew her skill and more importantly how teeth-grinding it is to watch a stream of someone just fumbling for 3 hours. Also ultimately, it is the streamer full right to have their own rule on their stream. If u don't like it, u can watch someone else, there's like 8 generations of idols in Hololive alone after all.
She mentioned a bit in her ASMR stream. Not going to spoil massive stuff here, so I think it is alright. But essentially those are the kinds of songs she sings at Karaoke and really wanted to sing them. I assume that, being the genius I believe she is, realized it was a perfect moment to play into her own fanbases theories and takes. Talk about controlling the narrative.

It would definitely help as she does have a decent amount of collaboration with the JP talent overall. I know everyone talks about Kiara, but Amelia is up there. I think she brings out the Seiso in those because she kind of understands the cultural disconnect and wants to play it safe. I wonder if she is learning though and is just too nervous to actually try to speak it on stream.
I kind of wish Kiara would make the JP Lesson stream she did with Gura a series, I thought it was really well done and honestly one of my favorite streams of her. And I think it would also bring in a lot more viewers than her regular streams. And nothing would stop her from rotating in EN members, or even ID members like Moona.
That actually pretty good idea for Kiara, especially since her Japanese is the most fluent in HoloEN (Ina too, if you can call her fluent but I doubt her since she's hikki). What I want if Kiara do this is she can teach some basic word that are useful for daily activities rather than "millenial information thing" (I don't know how to say it). But I want Gura and Ame learn JP by themselves too, maybe they learn from anime, song, tv show or their senpai stream. Moona too since her Japanese is the least among Risu and Iofi.

I tried watching that...good lord is he bad but he seems like he's having a fun time. Granted, with games like Bayo I'm a bit of a perfectionist and tried to at least get Gold or Plat on every level my first run through.

I think their rule is the same with most rules about backseating: don't help me unless I ask for it. In Kiara's case, she's only really good at one type of games (JRPG) and even then her skills are somewhat questionable. She wants to put on a good show and knows full well she doesn't know what she's doing so I can respect the ability to recognize that shortcoming and ask for help.
