/r/wsb autists taking on a wallstreet hedgefund. Elon musk involved as always / wallstreetbets / gamestop - Gamergate 2: financial boogaloo

so uh theoretically what does it take for them to be held accountable for this? I know its not going to happen but you know
Real domestic terrorism. The courts and the government won't do it, just like they didn't in 2008 or 1998.

A new war is pretty much confirmed after this. Nothing else stimulates the US economy quite like invading a foreign country.

"Never let a crisis go to waste!"

Has anybody else read "When Genius Failed"?
I read this last year and it's an eerily similar take about a hedge fund that threatened to take the global economy down with it after a series of poor and risky trades in the 90s.
The opening chapter actually describes how it went down with the government: they did not want to bail out the fund themselves and basically got every other major financial player together in a room and begged them to bail the fund out. They were even calling Buffet and Soros begging for money because otherwise there would be a far bigger collapse.
It's really fascinating and you can imagine how little has changed except that the government now has more people they can call in for favors, like the ceo of Robinhood and their friends in silicon valley. Look up Long Term Capital Management or just check out the first chapter of this book to see how this shit goes down.

2016 was the year when weaponized autism made meme magic real, maybe 2020 and the Chink-stink fallout on the economy is when weaponized autism switches its focus on fucking with Wallstreet.

Please invade Sweden.
And nuke Brussels and Berlin while you're at it.

Just FYI, you can file with the SEC and FINRA against the acts of market manipulation Robinhood have been responsible for:

https://sec.gov/oiea/Complaint.html to file a complaint with the SEC.

https://finra.org/investors/have-problem/file-complaint/complaint-center to file a complaint wit with FINRA.

https://robinhood.com/contact to file a complaint with Robinhood directly.

CLASS ACTION AGAINST ROBINHOOD INCOMING
Hey everyone,

We all just got screwed by Robinhood's screwup here. I'm friends with a lawyer who says we have a good case for a class action lawsuit.

Everyone comment here if you have/had shares or calls in GME held in Robinhood at market open today.

Let's show these guys the system can't fuck with us!

Edit:
Everyone take screenshots of Robinhood's app saying you can't buy, or blocking your orders.
Edit the 2nd:
Wheeeew lads let's get on it! I'll go through all these pms and comments this afternoon with my lawyer friend. Keep em coming!
And please share!
Edit 3:
OMFG guys I'm getting 1000s of PMs! It'll take a while to sort through them all and reply, but keep messaging and sharing! Also if you were using WeBull or some other brokerage and got blocked, you might as well join too.

Remember that larger players are at play and Melvin Capital is just a subsidiary for the multi trillion dollar asset company, Blackrock.

For reasons already discussed in this thread, literally the opposite of true.
BlackRock owned and has owned over 13% of the outstanding GME shares, and as of 1/26 (when the price was over $300, which means they could have pocketed nearly 5 billion that day), has not reportedly sold them. The exceptional individual pulling shit out of their ass in that image uses wishy-washy language like "presumably" because they have no fucking clue what's going on, and they don't even nail the right yids, it's Citadel that has the most to lose.
Actually, BlackRock and Melvin Capital have been serial contenders, with Melvin Capital being a general pain in the ass for BlackRock's (much larger, more important) "long game" investments.
