Militant Vegans - MEAT IS MURDER, YOU BLOODMOUTHS

If you're looking for a good crazy-vegan-mocking time, I would highly recommend trawling through Tumblr's beekeeping tags. Beekeepers, especially the passionate hobbyist types, are serious about their stuff and do not put up with "OMG EXPLOITATION" bullshit.

The argument I see most in those situations is the "you're stealing the bees' food!" thing. IIRC, bees naturally produce as much honey as they can, which can lead to situations where they build up too much and end up with a complete mess of a hive, old honey with dead animals mummified in it, etc. Responsible backyard beekeepers leave more than enough for the bees to eat, but skim off the extra--and there's quite a fucking lot of extra, too. And the best part? We didn't make the bees do that; it's part of bee programming. We're providing the little dudes with safe homes and taking payment by removing stuff they can never use, and the crazies just can't get their heads around it.

This guy is an example of a militant vegan. I mean, look at his tumblr page:

Good Lord! This guy is disgusting. At first glance his tumblr page just seemed like your typical eye-roll-worthy, militant vegan page. Then I saw this-

Enjoy this asshat celebrating matadors and rodeo riders getting gored and trampled!
I will admit, I am not really a fan of bull-fighting as a form of entertainment. I'm guessing that there might be some cultural significance that is lost on me (being from the United States), but from what I've seen, it's struck me as rather cruel and archaic. With that being said, to celebrate the painful death of people who participate in these kinds of sports is really malicious beyond all reason.

Reminds me of a time when I saw a bumper sticker that said "I'm thankful for hunting accidents." My uncle bow-hunts deer and eats the meat from what he's killed. Needless to say, this bumper sticker pissed me off.

You don't know militant vegans until you know about the Animal Liberation Front. Their actions are direct, illegal, usually involving breaking into labs, farms, destroying the facilities. You know, totally normal behavior of such idiots. The roots date back to the 60s when a journalist saw a pregnant deer get shot one day and got pissy. This journalist later founded HSA, the Hunt Saboteurs Association, which members, as the name suggests, sabotage hunts. One of the groups was founded by a man named Ronnie Lee. Believing there should have been more militant tactics, he formed the band of mercy, which did almost the same thing except slashing tires and breaking windows and shit to keep people from hunting. The violence continued followed by Ronnie going to prison. When he got out, he decided change the name. Thus, the Animal Liberation Front was born. They, however, did not partake in the action of harming or killing people. Later on, however, in the 80s, an unknown person founded ARM, the Animal Rights Militia, a separate branch that's much, much worse. Their actions, while both direct and illegal, involve things like murder. Like sending letter bombs to people who work at animal research labs and hunters and stuff.

Oh, I'm well-aware of ALF and their ilk.
Interestingly enough, there's a documentary on available to watch on youtube called "Your Mommy Kills Animals".
It mostly discusses the tactics of extremist animal-rights groups and the various issues that arise form them.

What I find most amusing about this documentary, though, is the fact that nearly everyone interviewed who isn't a PETA member hates PETA. The animal rights activists and the consumer rights activists were actually able to agree on one thing- PETA sucks balls.

ALF will do some downright moronic shit. For instance, they'll release mink from fur farms into the wild, where being predators, the mink will then cause environmental havoc and slaughter wildlife that doesn't have any defenses against them. But at least they're not hypocrites and actually adhere to their fucked-up, extremist ideology.

That PETA runs shelters that kill more animals than the city pound and doesn't even try to adopt perfectly healthy animals out really says all you need to know about PETA.

People who follow a fucked up ideology deserve at least some credit for sincerity. People who don't even follow their own ideology and do evil shit instead are, well, just evil. That's PETA. If PETA even has an ideology, it is nihilism in a pernicious form.

There's also how PETA sends its money to the ALF to get its most bomb-happy members out of jail. They even pay to send these people around to talk to kids to indoctrinate them into their belief system (this being nihilism). Yes, really, there have been documented cases referenced on People Eating Tasty Animals of this happening.

When even I seem to value life more than you do, you're doing the whole animal rights thing wrong.

And they have these crank celebs that want to feel good about themselves that come crawling in. Morrissey, seen here inadvertently making eating meat seem metal.

SAVOR THE FLAVOR OF MURDER!

Hahaha, so I was watching a Vice documentary called "Interview With a Cannibal," which centers around Issei Sagawa, a Japanese man who murdered and cannibalized (and in between those two acts, he actually raped her corpse) a Dutch woman named Renée Hartevelt. Amazingly, he was only detained for a couple of years before being declared legally insane and unfit to stand trial; he is still free to this day, and is a minor celebrity of sorts in Japan.

Anyway, I felt compelled to browse the comments of the video (which is always a fucking terrible idea) and came across a truly exceptional individual named Cassandra. And what did this wise, brave Youtube commenter have to tell us?

That's right, Cassandra here doesn't see any difference between eating a cheeseburger and fucking CANNIBALISM. That doesn't sound insane at all.

A couple of vegans commented on her post, before Apex_Predator1998 had this to say:

(note: I don't ever approve of "kill yourself" messages, but this one was so well used it's kind of hard not to chuckle at it)

Anyway, then along came fellow vegan ns94, who probably has the single most misinformed and delusional comment in the entire comment section:

You heard it here first, folks. People only started eating animals 2,000 years ago, after the birth of Christianity. Before then, everyone was a nature-loving vegan. We haven't discovered ancient hunting weapons or wall paintings or historical accounts anything at all that suggests that our ancestors hunted animals and later domesticated them for easier access to meat. Nope, no evidence at all. And even if those things did exist, hunting and killing for food was always considered an abominable act, not natural at all!

Some more people, armed with logic and common sense, tried to talk sense into Cassandra and the other vegans in the thread:

But no, Cassandra is determined that these people see the light of truth:

And these people wonder why nobody takes them seriously.

"Cassandra" doesn't have to worry about cannibalism; it doesn't look like there is any meat on that body.

"I'm a Vegan! I'm completely healthy!"
-The last words of a Vegan before passing out and dying of starvation.

That's what's so hilarious about her repeatedly claiming that meat is "100% unnecessary in the human diet" and that it's "unnatural" to continue consuming animal products. If that were the case, why would you need to take supplements and vitamins to keep healthy? Why would you have to meticulously plan what you eat to meet your dietary standards? Eating too much meat and dairy isn't great for your body, but neither is cutting it out altogether.

She also claimed that humans aren't apex predators, ignoring the fact that we rely on our knowledge and usage of tools over things like teeth/claws/brute strength/etc.

Oh boy.
So let me just first say, yes I am a vegan (for both ethical reasons, and because my body cannot take dairy products.) I have been one for quite a while now, and let me just say these people are so ridiculous.

All their stupid accusations and ramblings, quite frankly, instead of making people actually curious about the treatment of animals in the food industry, make people wanna run away as fast as they can as soon as they hear the word "vegan".

Stop shoving it down people's throats, seriously.

In Australia we have a party that these kinds of Vegans in called The Green Party who wants to ban any kind of hunting, sports shooting and firearms in general because they care about the animals despite that if we didn't have hunting Australian farm land would be eroded due to invasive species such as rabbits killing srubs, trees and depleting native animals of food.
Yea about that, on behalf of the British people thank you SO MUCH for Natalie Bennett, we really desperately needed her driveling, self serving bullshit plastered all over the last election.

I heard Morrissey put up footage of factory farming in his last concert and rather than apologize for the shock this put some people in, he and other vegans acted satisfied and that "this may make Vegans of them".

Is their agenda really all these people think of? How they can make the world "moar vegan"?

I dissected and ripped apart the musculature of a chicken's leg, peeling away the flesh from the tendon, skin, and bone... It was the most delicious chicken that I had in months, since that dark meat stayed nice and juicy.

In short: shock tactics don't work since most people are rather aware they're eating flesh. Doubly so since I know that most meat plants actually have some level of standards.

I knew multiple people in college who had this little group (cult) of radical vegans all of which kept their pets on vegan diets, one of them had a fucking SNAKE. She 'didn't know how it died :( probably not enough heat'. These people love animals so much that they're willing to abuse them. 'How do these bloodmouths manage to keep their pets alive for their full lifespan???'

These people should be arrested for cruelty to animals. It is utterly despicable to deny basic biological reality in order to enforce an ideology on a helpless animal.

And I know radical vegans who would never dream of doing shit like this. They make exceptions for rescue animals.

Think about how many of these people eventually have kids to starve, too.
