Never heard of Philosophy Tube, but looking over his videos, I see nothing about Academic Philosophy in the videos, besides one which gave a ridiculous take on "Logic". Looks like just a bunch of shitlib takes on currently fashionable pop-insanity gender-bending trooning.

His videos tend to post baffling political arguments that are extremely far left but portray them as completely rational and not at all controversial. Like a good example is his landlords video where he talks about how the only way to solve homelessness is to get rid of landlords and make all housing public. Something Communist countries have done and led to disasterous results. Or in the case of Zimbabwe when they just took farmer's land arbitrarily their currency inflated to the point that there were 100 trillion dollar bills in circulation.

Very infrequently he'll bring up problems with his anarcho communist viewpoint like "Transgender people can't get hormones without a big pharma company manufacturing them" but these tend to be the minority compared to "We must end capitalism today".

His videos are less aggressive than Renegade Cut but not much better in terms of subject matter. At least Hbomberguy keeps the political segments to under 10%.
