On the one hand I don't blame him for being cautious since Boogie has signal boosted scam GoFundMes in the past. On the other hand, Boogie's been known to take credit for some of these GoFundMes that do help people despite him not putting a penny toward them and at most doing a retweet or two.

He shouldn't retweet them if he isn't pitching in.

Remember when he tried to take credit for helping that kid who had a terminal illness play Smash early? All he did was retweet something about it. He did none of the actual heavy lifting to make it happen but felt a retweet from him deserved praise.

In a sense he's not wrong. Low to mid six figures isn't rich, but it's "well off" or "comfortable," when taken in comparison to millionaires and billionaires. "The 1%" starts at around $350k/yr I think, which is why I've considered it a misdirection, and think railing against the 0.1% or 0.01% is more appropriate. But most of those in the low to mid six figures are career professionals or small/medium business owners, and provide some significant worth to society beyond whining/chimping on the internet. Even Melvin Capital employs more janitors and IT people than Boog ever has.

Another thing that should be mentioned. There has been a loss of revenue in the 86% to 94% wealth bracket. You know that nice tax changes for the rich and the left overs for the rest of us? Where is fuck did you think this tax reduction was going to come from? Some people were sniffing glue when they thought about that mess.

Its going to get ugly later in the year as well when Uncle Joe will start trying increase your taxes in the usual round about way that all politicians do, regardless of you are a Demo or a Repub. Your taxes are going to go up.

Anyhow Boogie Ain't Rich and even giving him the benefit of the doubt, he still in wage slave territory. Because he still needs to flap those lips and create revenue as a social commentator.
