yeah, youtube has been accused of pushing right wing videos to make people evil, so I'm sure they are pushing breadtube stuff to a degree to fight this idea.

Blocking them is too public, I'd imagine. They do share an ecosystem on YouTube together, it's not like the right-wing YouTube scene where if you have shit with someone you go on the Killstream and call each other niggers until the schizophrenics in Ralphs chat decide who is more based via spamming emotes. By deleting the tweets instead of blocking there's a kind of plausible deniability and you can evade the whole thing.

Lindsay Ellis let QuintonReviews spam her for years before she felt comfortable that enough people hated Quinton so it wouldn't be seen as 'punching down' when she leaked their dms.

Simple. One clout magnet blocks another clout magnet and the first clout magnet will use that in order to attract clout. Magnetically.

A cycle of drama begins that benefits the block-ee as the blocker will have to explain themselves. This way if they're called out on the deleted tweets they can just feign ignorance and go "I do that to ALL my tweets you're just paranoid".

Breadtube built itself up on an image of socialism, friendship, unity and lefty shit. If they block or shit on each other it ruins the illusion. The only time they go at each other is if they're on the ok list of people to shit on. Like xanderhal or vaush. But contra blocking philosophytroon would cause breadtube to implode under some insanely heavy drama. This isn't like Ellis shitting on movieblob or that irrelevant loser Quinton. It would be a massive drama as both are incredibly large breadtubers with lots of msm attention on them.

I mean if it's true then it's really shitty of him. I'm no fan of Nyk, but even this junkie troon should be physically safe. It's Nyk's human right to get killed by an opium overdose after all.
But to be honest, I don't buy it. Abighoul just doesn't seem the person to attack somebody physically, but rather a person that deals the blows with the keyboard. I think Nyk's problem with Olly is exactly his trooning out. We have to be honest: Nyk is more intelligent than 99% of BreadTube. He knows he's a grifter and that he says things in his videos that he doesn't believe himself (he doesn't think that non-binary people exist, no matter how much he tries to prove otherwise). So it's obvious that he's sickened that Olly tries the same grift now as well.

Genuinely think Contra would know how that would go. Either:

A) Doesn't want their "team" to suffer a big L. Contra'd rather keep the secret than for the community to look like the sexual assaulters they all will inevitably turn out to be
B) Has rationalised that it "isn't that big of a deal"
C) Just doesn't want the fallout from it

Because if one big Twitter user blocks another, the stink would penetrate everywhere. This causes the least suspicion and fallout and Troon Fights. And you KNOW that he's the one to go "WHY DID YOU BLOCK ME I THOUGHT WE WERE GONNA FUCK REEEEE"

Something like that seems likely yes. Even if both of them are sincere in their transitioning the struggle for attention is real - you'd have to be wired a certain way where praise sustains you if you start a youtube channel in the first place - and now they find themselves competing for it within the community built up around them. It's even weirder considering both of them have spent a great deal of time talking about parasocial relationships and problems that come with pouring out your personal life on the internet. I'm interested in seeing how the dynamic between them changes.

After having read up on the assault allegations I'm also fairly sure that it isn't the issue here, so I'll ignore those comments until something comes up, which I doubt it will.
