There are a lot of parents who are normal folk from all kind of ideologies and their kids are extreme SJWs or commies, precisely because their parents didn't discipline them in the way they should have been. And that's often the product of liberal upbringing. Not saying that ONLY conservative parents discipline their children, but it's common that liberal parents think they shouldn't "suffocate" their kids with discipline and rules. Too much discipline or too little can turn your kid into a extremist.
