The new video basically just describes the leaks and summarises a little of the discussion around them, but it also makes an effort to tie the events into behaviour we've noticed a lot with Quinton: deleting failed attempts at being funny or interesting, his constant self-pity and attempts to mask it, believing his problems would be solved by larping with new politics, this group rejecting him, and how it ties into his all round slug-like behaviour

Does YouTube still have a "cartoon community"? If so I could see him trying to claw his way into that as kind of a reviewer era throwback. I think even he realizes he does little more than stomp rakes with the political stuff so Dirtbag Left might be something that intimidates him. Cartoons he can still sperg about politics but then immediately drop it when the heat gets too much, something that will look more and more appealing the more he gets cucked by Breadtubers.

I think he just lurks, if he posts he doesn't state the account name - a lot of YTers do this because they recognise they need to mention the farms either for basic disclosure of sources, or for credibility, but also know that they could be deplatformed for actively participating in a 'Hate Site' at the slightest future change in YT policy.

Quinton has tried every mild option available to him in his slow journey from sceptic to breadtube, whatever he tries it'll need to be more committed and backed up with more unfounded self-belief in order to make it stick. He can retreat from politics and play the uncaring centrist in his self-pitying little discord while making vapid pop culture content, or double down on the politics with Moviebob-style screeching to convince himself that through sheer force of virtue he can turn things around. This will be difficult for Quinton since he is already painfully aware that being discovered faking his way into breadtube means his politics will never make him influential friends or get him a girlfriend. He's expressed personal revulsion at the thought of who he was before he abandoned the sceptics, so whatever option he chooses will bear mentally-ill fruit, as he can't even organically develop his interests and probably has no idea of his mental or emotional needs, much less a path to get him there. His constantly stated desire to throw away existing social circles to 'upgrade' means he could take unexpected turns both in ideology and content theme if only anybody took some interest in him (they won't).

Yeah, that's another thing. Internet teens in general kind of decided Twilight in particular was one of the worst things ever made, and people only started to accept the movies were just kinda mediocre a couple of years ago. If Q thought he was being a real contrarian for saying Twilight and HSM sucked, that kinda just highlights how out of touch he's always been with what everyone else thinks.
