I'm still amused by the fact that a professor who claims that his online "activism" is part of his work has some BS anime photo on his profile. Why not a professional headshot? I mean, he has "passing privilege" so no one would ever guess he wasn't a real girl. He's using his "real" name, after all, so why hide behind a cartoon avatar? How many other "experts" out there have cartoon avatars on their Twitter accounts?

The Covid/ Olympic situation in Japan is a farce. But it’s fixable. The athletes should sit this one out. Host the Trans Olympics. Throw open the doors. Remove the last barriers from trans women’s participation in women’s sports. They can go to Japan, play Covid Bingo and peak trans the world at the same time. Fact Two is a lie that literally everyone knows is a lie. You figure out why there's a boys team and a separate girls team in fucking primary school: boys, on average, can run faster, jump higher, etc. It boggles my mind that they're just carrying on like we don't all just know this.

Rhys wants to pretend people know him as this respected elite athlete, but in reality, what they know is that there was a transsexual who won a women’s cycling race a couple of years back. I doubt the majority of people could even remember Fatty’s face, much less his name.
The sad reality is, most people don’t give a shit about cycling, much less women’s cycling. Rhys only stands out as a freak.

"FACT" one - There is ONE archetypical way for our bodies to be female -- 46XX, ovaries, female genitals, etc -- and a range of uncommon deviations that we still accept as female. Being 46XY, with testes and penis is not among acceptable deviations from the female archetype.
"FACT" two - do I still need to go through that?
"FACT" three - 1) Pro athletes have always had their bodies policed: urine tests, blood tests, etc. I can't see karyotyping or hormonal levels are somehow worse than anti-doping tests. The supposed intrusion to female athletes' privacy is more than offset by ensuring a level playing field. 2) The claim that genuine women will be excluded for being "too good" is a ridiculous slippery slope.

One thing that is truly beautiful about the ratio-ing the ACLU got is there is ONE tweet they have that was not ratio'd: "Trans people belong on the same teams as other students".
It's the only tweet they made that was actually accurate, or relevant to human rights for that matter. Yes, no little boy should be denied a spot on the boy's soccer team just because he likes sparkly dresses. That is very true.
As much as activists try to spin this, it's not hate or bigotry. It's not transphobia to acknowledge that male and female bodies are different. Nobody wants to be mean to kids that don't conform to sex stereotypes. We just live in material reality and recognize that repeating a lie over and over doesn't make it true.
It really is astounding how far the ACLU has fallen. Wonder who's lining their pockets these days.
As for Rhys, he is literally only notable as "that out of shape flabby middle aged guy that won a women's cycling championship". Does he understand it's possible to be famous for bad reasons? We even have a word for it: infamous. That's the only kind of "fame" Rhys will ever see... and even then, nobody remembers his name.
