DSP: "There should never be insta-kills unless it's a headshot with a sniper rifle"
Also DSP: "WTF that's so unrealistic you can't jump like that/eat that many bullets/run with that sniper rifle/quick-scope, CoD started out as a realistic mil-sim"
For all his talk, he has never once tried or seemingly considered hardcore mode.
What Phil actually wants is to be a bullet sponge running around with the only golden gun, one-shotting everyone with glancing hipfire shots.

I still can't get over that he finally crossed the line in his last stream and his top games of the year countdown, saying that the people in the lower skill brackets are fine, but then the game bumps you up to the higher skill players and they all have bad connections. Overdosing on the copium with that argument.

EDIT: Phil just said he needed to look at 'paying off the car' and then making improvements for the business, and then he can start thinking about saving for the future.
... are we really going to try and now say that the Toyota needs to be paid off before he'll get a green screen?

He also just said he is still 'getting caught up' on taxes. He is estimating it will take about 5 years still before he has paid off his 'back taxes' from the last 5 years.
So this begs the question, when Phil said in December that he was now 'caught up on his taxes', what was he referring to if not that? Why is he on a 5 year payment plan for these taxes after he had $500k in debt cleared? Especially when he had fundraisers to pay into them and got $4k from his mom? I didn't think it was possible for this to make even less sense, but here we are...

5 years to pay off $15,000. Truly pathetic.

Phil is taking digs at the cosmetics in the game. I agree, cosmetics you have to pay for are stupid. Nobody should pay for shit like that. Only kids like that.
Anyway, remember, it's $50 for Phil to put on the gunnar glasses and $100 for a vest, you get to pick the colour. But only for the next 40 minutes, then it all resets to default Phil for the next stream.

... wait a minute...

His payment plan for his 2018 federal taxes was $500 a month. He still owed ~$15k. At $500 a month, those would be paid off in 2.5 years. Of course, he also had his 2019 federal taxes that he then owed. Given that he made about the same amount of income, he could very well have had another $15k added to his payment plan. And now he's coming up on his 2020 federal taxes, so who knows at this point.

In other words, it's not impossible that he will be paying those off for 5 years, especially since he really loves to make only minimum payments.

Also, he had ~$140k of credit card debt cleared, plus like $100k from his remaining mortgage on the CT condo.

So this begs the question, when Phil said in December that he was now 'caught up on his taxes', what was he referring to if not that?

Probably referring to making his quarterly federal tax payment. I would bet, though, that he hasn't made the full amount he should and will still owe several thousands.

Phil just explained a bit about chargebacks. He said the goal is to get no chargebacks, to identify when it is 'the criminal' tipping and refund them immediately. But these chargebacks that he lost were from before he understood what was happening and didn't realize he couldn't win.

Phil explained that with a normal chargeback, he provides evidence of the shoutout he gave to PayPal and that slants it in his favor. But when it is the stolen credit cards, that does not work. The troll tips that he does not shout out are the ones he refunds. So this establishes that the shoutouts are apparently part of the 'transaction' that he uses to protect himself. This also explains some of the janky pauses and weird tipquisitions where he weirdly avoids saying that a person tipped or the amount before confirming it with them.

Finally, he stated that he was suckered by the tips that said 'supportive things' and assumed they were legitimate, and those turned out to be SH. This is in line with what people speculated a while back, that when SH tipped with what was essentially a form compliment ("Been a fan since _______ game, keep up the great streams"), Phil didn't even question it. Decent enough move, preying on his massive ego.

This was all in response to someone cheering to ask if the chargebacks Phil were contesting might be innocent victims who had their money stolen, and therefore should be able to get it refunded.

Quick note: He is lying about the November chargebacks as being before he understood the credit cards were stolen - he was stating that at the time. More accurately, he probably didn't identify that they were SH, was pissed, and attempted to contest them in a last ditch effort to get the money. I'm not really sure why he would explain some of this stuff, but I guess he put himself in a position where he was pressured to do so because he wanted to use it to beg.

Nothing groundbreaking here, but some more insights into the mechanics of his process at least, and how the only reason SH has managed to gain an upper hand here is because Phil is stupid, slow to adapt, and incapable.

Wait, am I missing something or are you telling me that Phil plans to depend on his whales for the next five fucking years? Five years of the same tired begging, speeches, and guilt-tripping? Even ignoring the :optimistic: of that, god his aspirations in life are low.

He is so desperate for tips right now, it's all coming out! LMAO I love it!!

"because when you have a charge back you have to dispute, it's a crap shoot. You have no clue if you're ever gonna win, you dont know."

We always knew his "I always win chargebacks, so dont even try" claim was bullshit, but it's always nice to get confirmation in his own words. SH along with his gacha addiction have him so mentally fucked right now.

And he blatantly shits all over pwcuckz, and literally tells him to go fuck himself, and then minutes later, after he realizes what he said, now he's trying to laugh about it, and joke it off. He's so fucking toxic. He shits all over one of his "viewers", realizes how bad he needs tips for his mobile game garbage, and immediately does a 180. "I love it! I LOVE IT!!!"

So Phil admitted he was fighting chargebacks as late as November, way after his unhinged rants about someone using stolen credit cards to fuck with him. Why are you contesting chargebacks from stolen cards Dave?
He's a greedy sociopath and would actually argue that the money is his and he needs that money. He doesn't care if money was stolen by someone else, it matters that it ends up with him!
🐽

I was looking up youtube analytics for another channel and out of curiosity I popped in Dave's channel and apparently he's actually losing subscribers and is now at 189K on the dot. Does anyone know if it is possible to track the stats of individual videos that aren't yours? Like the views/week over time? Everything I've found so far is just channel analytics.

lmao I love this enemies aren't rendering excuse now. He gets backstabbed twice in a row, he claims that he "cleared" the area and didn't see them so of course they HAD to not render. I haven't played the game but from watching the restreams for so long now I know that when you go down the ramp in the ship map there are boxes and barrels on both sides below the deck where you can hide. He never checked that small cubbyhole so when someone waits for him and backstabs him he claims they were invisible :story:

$77 of the $87 in tips (so far) from 3 people (30, 30, 17). Let me guess, another positive, organic, fun, interactive stream now being uploaded to dspgaming?

Also, another "at least its all ending soon" statement in regards to chargebacks.. Yawn. I feel like we've been hearing this for a month or two already. In fact, I remember him saying he had already "curtailed" them about a month ago, and that they were "manageable". Lol, fuck off.

Edit: LMAO! Sitting on two tips (15, 13) to end the stream, but he "was busy playing, so there was nothing I could do". Such a fucking scumbag

I just pulled up the first result I could find because I'm lazy.

TL;DR - He'll never stop complaining about chargebacks from da trolls.

Chargebacks will be the filler arcs for DSP from here on out. If he doesn't have any other crisis at hand to cry about, he'll fall back to the old excuse of chargebacks, even after Superhound is long gone. It's retarded, backwards logic that chargebacks drain money from him, but who cares, all his whales need is to feel like the big hero. Keeping up a drama narrative is the only way to keep attention on him, detractor or fan, and Phil knows it.

Of which, $30 are unverified tips from CyberShadow, which Phil accepted after crying about chargebacks. It was in $10 and $20 tips, so it was also broken up meaning that he doesn't appear on the leaderboard. Surely those are totally legit. Verified PayPals? Optional in this time of need.

He just got tips to hit the tips goal, didn't read them because he was in a match (he read contributions in a match earlier, mind you), and then threw on camo vest for his finale.
