It always seemed like some higher up nerd at Bioware got obsessed with Strahovski while watching Chuck, but after doing her face scan and voice lines, life didn't imitate TV and she shot him down or was just oblivious to him. So in retaliation he messed with her face model and then her screen time in Mass Effect 3.

Pinnacle Station was pretty much the only way to reliably get high level armor. I hope they address that in game.

it's easy to assume and probably true in some aspect, but as the saying goes it's easy to attribute malevolence when it's just incompetence.
imo the issue is that getting a somewhat ok looking dude is easy. grab any somewhat extensive char creator, create a dude, then try again make an (especially conveniently) attractive female. even harder when you strive for realism, making a miranda who everyone considers a 11/10 takes some real talent.
if you want another example even with the vast amount of weaponized autism people put into r34 and porn games, where the whole fucking point is a good looking female to beat your meat to, it's literally sturgeon's law everywhere full of gobbos and downies.

dunno if it's a gender thing or personal prejudice/preference, would love to read some proper studies about it, but that would probably be "sexist".

I'm sure they wanted to but from what I hear EA wants this thing out the door with minimal dev time so all they're really doing is upscaling to 4k textures and making the lighting better because they don't have time for anything else.

I was going to say that I'm sure the only reason they didn't was because they couldn't, because I'm sure if they could have they would have, there's no way a tight assed feminist is going to let anything slip them by if they're able to control it, there's no way they would ever take the stance of "eh, it's not a big deal, whatever" when it comes to the issue of WAHMEN in VIDYA GURMS.

It's not even 4k textures, neither the Xbox or PS5 can do true 4k.

Honestly, I love/am amazed how the ME3 ending was so atrocious that it made a lot of people forgive the rest of the game's sloppy execution. But yes, ME3 troubles did not just start at the ending. Anything with the Star Child/totally cereal PTSD, Cereal Killer Kai Leng, the absolute dirty done to the ME2 crew, the entire Crucible deal, Sexbot EDI (I'm not even being a prude here, EDI had an amazingly tasteless design), Chobot wannabe replacing superior reporter Ada Wong, the list goes on.
