He seems more like a Tantalus origin story, to me. Y'know, a person who gets a taste of something he's not supposed to taste, and the gods are pissed off and curse him with a hunger that can never be satisfied; no matter much he eats he is still hungry for more. Tantalus eats all his food, eats all his livestock, eats his family, eats himself, then spends eternity surrounded by food and drink that hovers maddeningly out of reach no matter how desperately he grasps at it.

Y'know, like a consoomer or Barbara Chandler.

Its amazing that in all of this he considers himself to be the victim. I've seen professional victims many times, not just on the farms but elsewhere, and they always fascinate.

Its not that he said it that is wrong, because he will say anything to "win" a fight so he can't grasp why his words matter to other people because they in no way matter to him.

While I am tending to agree with the "not Borderline but definitely comorbid Cluster B" theories...

How can someone who is nearly 40 years old not understand who they are and waffle over something that seems so absurd but is obviously very important to them (and is part and parcel of their sense of self).

No wonder he can't make any actual improvement as a person - he doesn't even know who he IS as a person yet.

Fucking hell. Yeah he's an asshole and a piece of shit, but he also needs some SERIOUS therapy.

"Toxic." Yep. Louis still doesn't understand what he did that made people upset at him.

I'm glad the biggest takeaway Louis has learned from his beetus is not he needs to adjust his lifestyle or his diet, it's that he has a new means of suicide-baiting by claiming he won't take insulin anymore.

Regardless, pinning the most objectively horrible things he's said on top of his Twitter is an interesting strategy, I'm curious to see how it plays out.
