Someone help me out here, as I don't own or operate a small business/scam in the US.

Is it reasonable that it would take him hours of work to get his taxes ready? Consider the following factors as well:
1. He has a 'tax guy' that... does something in this equation
2. He has already been paying his quarterly taxes and as late as September, renegotiated a payment plan for his back taxes
3. Receives much of his income through Paypal and Twitch which should be able to provide documentation
4. Has made no visible purchases that differ from previous years for the business, outside of the PS5 and a couple of headphones

I feel like a lot of this info should be readily available or should already be somewhat up to date. I have no doubt that he has done no prep or organization to make it easy, and I know this is mostly a cover to turn up late because he is mired in his gacha, but I'm just curious as to how insane this claim of hours upon hours of compiling spreadsheets is.

Sidenote: He is currently complaining that the day stream stepped up for Fenix, but the night stream is 'slow'.
Ignoring, I guess, that whales specifically asked it to be during the day so they could contribute last time. Those goal posts are on wheels... like so many Robs...

I've partly suspected that his "working on taxes" is him sitting at a table trying to imagine anything and everything that he can try and pretend he "bought" for the business.
I really believe that Dave is writing off way more than he should be a la Onision. (For reference, IIRC, Onision got married and tried to write off the entire wedding because he posted videos of it)
We've heard DSP say he writes off the office, but he's supposed to be writing off a portion because he uses the room in his downtime, as well. We know he plays games in there, occasionally. It's the same with his consoles. He and Kat have used the consoles for personal use, so they should now only be partially tax-deductible.

I just feel that dumb ass Dave has to sit and really think hard about how he's going to bullshit a ton of the purchases he's made.

His tax person asked for his relevant receipts and information and Phil is putting it off. I wonder why?

I'm sure the tax guy has had some retarrrrrr-idiot show up on April 14th with a shoebox full of crumpled papers asking if he will be able to finish the return in time for April 15th. So it's probably a standard practice for people with anything more complicated than the most basic tax situations.

From what we've seen of Phil's relationships (all 2 of them), he doesn't understand seem to understand the concepts of love, passion or intimacy. The woman in his life is there to serve two purposes: 1) be used as proof he's not an incel; 2) cook and clean for him. Doesn't matter what she wants, his needs are the only priority. It bothers Phil when he sees people being genuinely happy in a healthy relationship rather than treating it like a soulless business partnership where one provides the money and the other provides the microwave dinners.
Phil's revulsion at seeing breast feeding in any context is the most fucked up part. Makes me wonder if he was breastfed abnormally late into his childhood and has bad memories of Mama Burnell whipping out her floppers for snack time.

If you're talking about the self-reported income, that number was just flat wrong. Without looking at the docs, I'm 99% sure it asked for gross income and he/his lawyer put in net income. The reason I remember this is that the 6 months of 2019 that he actually spelled out his income totalled somewhere near his alleged yearly income.

I certainly agree. During Phil's time, none of these women would do these chores for him, and honestly, if these bitches don't do these, including Katherine, what will Phil actually going to do? Cleaning or cook? Unfortunately, I don't think so.
Phil would just sit at the same battlestation posting montages that only lesser than thousand of people would watch his gaming highlights on YT or sperging on Twitter/Twitch or streaming himself playing games and moderate his Twitch harshly and continuously being a liar and hypocritical streamer that is himself.
