I thought it was five who surpported the advancing of impeachment. It was 6?
That was the amount willing to hear it in the first place. It looks like they have gained a senator. They need 67 to convict though, so unless there are lots of back room deals I don’t know about, this is all just a massive waste of time and money.

Oh sweaty, you've got your head in the clouds if you don't think they're drafting a bill that makes the Republican nominee subject to Democrats' approval.
GOP is 100% using superdelegates from now on.

Also, GOP: DNC:: Generals: Globetrotters. The sooner people accept it, the better.

Honestly I pretty sure out of the 6 Republicans who voted for this. I'm convinced 5 of them are going to be primary. Susan Collins is safe do to being in Maine and the Maine dems will love her for this.
Mittens is a Mormon so it'll take a lot to unseat him in Utah, and IIRC Murkowski has her seat guaranteed by the Alaskan political system

So a simple majority is needed to advance it? I was gonna say, if it were 2/3rds, why even bother? Dems would just be embarrassing themselves.

There are undoubtedly other Republican Mormons that can run against Mitt.

Oh shit I forgot Alaska has a weird political system. Becuase I'm pretty sure if was in a normal senate seats. She would have been primary a long time ago.

I've seen conservative Mormons get really piss of at Romney lately. Also didn't Trump win the state by alot. Also they can just found another Mormon to replace honestly.

Isn’t Romney elected deep in Mormon Country? As nauseous as it makes me, that piece of trash is safe from anything.

Then those Mormons had better step up, otherwise we'll have more Jeff Flakes.
