Plagued Onion Farms and other KF Splinter Sites - Watch Kiwi Farms members slapfighting in this thread

This could be fun. Maybe we should redirect him to other splinters like Applecat's Tea Parlour or autism.cool. I don't know if those even exist anymore but the power of his 'tism can probably revive them.
If you want I can get you connected with him.

Please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but this is an observation I’ve had about the Onion Farms and their users.

It really seems like an esoteric group. Most of the posters who are active were already acclimated with each other. You all recall the Discord drama of months ago, so you know a similar lot at least hangs out in some fashion online. Over the past few months, and as the number of bans grew, the Onion farms acted as a safe harbor for all of those exiled from this forum.

I don’t use Discord anymore, but I am part of a few IRC servers where I witness the phenomenon of internet tardstrength growing in numbers. I’ll explain. Let’s say there’s someone you dislike at a bar or pub you used to frequent. The person, for whatever reason, is more popular than you, possesses more power, and managed to force you out of your own beloved haunt. You pound on the doors and reeeee as loudly as you can, but no one is listening. Inside, you’re actively being mocked for your previous transgressions.

Now, a few of your former acquaintances from the same pub receive the treatment. You lot go hang out in a smaller, private establishment where the focal point of conversation is primarily based upon how jilted you feel toward the other establishment you once favored. Over time, the cycle continues, and more and more former acquaintances are left without a home. You invite them to your fold and realize, hey, dude my we’ve amassed quite the numbers here.

Since the entire foundation of your club was formed on the basis that you’re pissed at the other, and now that you’ve the numbers strong enough to be recognized, you begin to air your grievances in a public forum so that the patrons of the emitter establishment can see. The thing is, all of this “drama” is all internalized and is only interesting to those outsiders who don’t dwell on such things for so long. Once the appeal of, “hey, the other guys are talking about us” ends, there is nothing left. No reason to continue.

The largest fallacy of creating something to spite something else is that the foundation is build upon malice. If Kengel announced his desire to remove all Kiwi Farms-based posts, the Onion Farms would instantly flounder, and people would return back to their Discord channels for private discussions. If Ride decided that this thread was unnecessary and pending removal, it’d get removed and nearly every poster here would go back to doing whatever it is they do on the site.

I miss a lot of the banned posters, but I don’t miss them enough to juggle another forum. I don’t miss them enough to read a cleaned up Encyclopædia Dramatica essay about how horrible this site’s owner is (this is also an essay). This is like Kengel’s 7th attempt at creating some form of discussion board, and it’s only a matter of time before he manages to break something.

Tl;dr - being spiteful or angry because of an unfavorable outcome over a long period of time is draining. Eventually, members will grow tired and the herd will thin. Kengel will be left, boiling his hamburgers, all by his lonesome - as God has intended.

Is this why one of their five major lolcow categories is complaining about weird animals? Cicadas are less likely to send angry letters to peggle?
yeah, but like, bitchin about dumb animal biology doesn't need it's own subforum. It's a thread at most, and it'd be immediately showered in jigsaw pieces the moment someone tried to start it.
This is you:

And by the way, people actually appreciate the fact I made them aware about how dumb Cicadas are, so *raspberry*

As an act of good faith I'd say to the Onion-fags to get rid of those damn stickers. Stickers always ruin sites since it encourages baboon-like herd mentality if they see a trend in public opinion, and will ultimately cause autistic splinter groups like these to exist in the first place.
So the solution to a forum having stickers which creates a herd like mentality is..... create another splinter forum that has stickers?

I don't think that is the reason behind the splinter site creations if anything.

Congratulations to Null for reaching the "forum about a forum" stage of his internet career.
If you paid attention to the thread you would had realized this happens every tuesday since even before Null took the wheel, however they usually don't live long enough to be noticed, Onion farm being the very retarded exception and hence why this thread exist

Even then, it hasn't lasted that long - earliest threads i can see are from December. It's just that a few notable recent bans went over there to bunker down and haven't moved since.
