The content is good though, but it is getting a bit hugboxy. Fact is she's the GME/TSLA of this market right now.

I mean this thread started just to talk about the people behind the talent and I remember joining when we were just over 100 pages. I attribute the increase in activity due to people either coming in from the chans because they got sick of their bullshit or just more people in general coming in from everywhere to have a somewhat normal discussion that freely talks about every aspect of the performer without getting on the case of a Discord jannie who will kick you out the door without a second thought.

I mean we can always circle back to the Calli Doomposting that showed up every 50 pages for 2-3 pages like clockwork over the 400 before this arc. Or the regurgitation of 'NIJI IS ONLY QUANTITY' and 'HOLO HAS TEH REAL TALENT,' that broke up the Haato-watch created four to six pages ago. And lest we forget the current cycle of Artemis and Indies suck at everything.

Calli hasn't done anything doompost worthy and the problem with Niji is still a lack of western exposure. I have no doubt all the talents are good if somewhat typical streamers (hololive is treated as being de facto "better" just because of the vetting process and their talent absolutely needing to do something to stand out) but the fact that translated clips of them are hard to come by makes it hard to engage with them at all. Holostars has the same problem.

The doxx part of the thread was kind of moot after that since the the whole of Hololive (besides the likes of Suisei), and a good portion of Niji have been relatively common knowledge.

I think most people at this point don't really care that Ina looks like a cute if somewhat emaciated Korean girl or that Kiara actually kind of looks like her avatar, but some people will always say that Calli's fat even though she's basically average by American standards. People stopped doxxing the talent a while ago but I'm pretty sure once the new ENVSinger is revealed we're gonna have a whirlwind of activity with people digging up every fucking thing she's ever done.

The Lolcow portion was essentially just. . . Kiara? and even then a lot of it ended up just being a coupling of a fourteen/fifteen year-old girl making dumb decisions and a blatant. . . whatever the hell that J guy is.

That's not even a lolcow thing, that's just Kiara being a dumb kid and getting way in over her head to the point where she may have some legit PTSD regarding the idol industry.

I don't really feel it's important, more or less interesting to comment on whenever we have a "slow news day" in terms of whatever the indie scene is fucking up currently. So far, nothing. The loli succubus vtuber that people were shitting on for ages has her debut in a few days (and by her voice clips, sounds like a normal adult woman despite the avatar) and basically said that she's happy she got all the hate since she lives rent-free in those dumbasses' heads and ended up doing more to promote her than she could have ever done herself. She's fucking great.

You can make a page for the big ones. . . but it won't be anything besides a complete circle-jerk. At least here we have some sober heads like agility_ to bring some perspective. . . or the occasional outer-god show there face to troll. Better here. At least that's my take.

Aside from HaatoWatch which took up way too much of this thread whenever she did fucking anything, I do think this is just a good place to keep everything consolidated since there isn't much ever in the way of news on a singular talent to keep a page on them, and you're right. At that point it would just be a fan discord or some shit. Most news to come out lately from the industry is not from any of the girls but from WonderFest announcing several figures in the works for them.

On the Coco thing: fuck the bugmen. She dragged me into the rabbit hole and is such a pillar of strength for hololive that them finally getting to her means that someone has hell to pay and that manager who fucked up her banlist had better be reprimanded and soon.

I don't know how it was for others, but for me it was a simple google search. I was a casual viewer with not much interest in "past lives", roommates and so on, but one day I stumbled upon the term "Amegeddon" and wanted to know what the hell was that. Few hundred pages later...

Nothing that happens in this thread I think is content-worthy enough for its own thread except MAYBE the TBA's getting a Community Watch thread, and even then that thread would be quite dry because the whole point of being a TBA is a lack of content.

For example, Haato-watch is clearly an arc that will be over soon-ish -- measured in weeks at most if I were a betting man, and yes, I got tired of Haato-watch flooding the thread, but being frank it has flooded just about every Chuuba General Discussion source that isn't /vt/.

See I watched the whole thing as more of a dunk on the rest of the CNs than Holo. That horned monster is supposed to be Civia (and that is a fact) and they're still on the same team/page as of late. From my understanding: The CCP centric-located crew probably went one way, Yogiri (being Taiwanese) shut the fuck up, and the U.S. based others played the 'banana' route and lost.

That comic was tied with the 'retirement' stream she had on twitch. and even her Chinese-speaking fans freaked on that.

My rrat is that the CN based crew sold out the U.S. based crew for Benedict-Arnolding and Artia decided to fuck them on the back end. I wouldn't blame her. Matter of fact, that does make me wonder why the rest don't use similar setups as the ID crew. Their quality as entertainers might not be to everyone's preferences, especially depending on the girl, but their stream layouts and especially notification setups are admirable. It was a little surprising when the ID Gen 2 crew debuted with layouts that seemed far more technically competent than EN's.

Gonna have to contest this. How is the monster meant to be Civia, how does the heart factor into it if that is the case? The comic was released before Civia's bicorn avatar was revealed, no? And if they're meant to be on the same side then why is the monster breathing fire/smog on Artia's self-insert? To my knowledge, the two have nothing to do with each other now.
