Safety razors do take some practice to use properly. If you're impatient and try to shave with them like you would a modern multi-blade razor then you'll cut your face to ribbons. But if you take the time to learn their quirks you get a closer, smoother shave that lasts longer and it'll actually take less time because you don't have to go over the same spots over and over to get everything. And you can get high quality blades in bulk packs that will last you a LONG time for less than a pack of the disposable multi-blade heads. However, I think Louie is just too lazy to shave. Period.
