Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Not likely. Odds are everyone in the establishment knew there wasn't a plan or anything that could be done.

Remember during the campaign when Biden completely dismissed the idea of China "eating our lunch" and mocking Trump for standing up to the CCP? I believe he even used one of his trademark "c'mon, man!"s. Guessing this is just a smokescreen to try and distract from all the Chinese cash flowing mysteriously into Biden bank accounts. It certainly won't amount to anything meaningful, Joe's been totally fine with their running roughshod over America for decades.

It's why I roll my eyes at our local Libs that view Biden as "Meh, but a heaven's send above the last guy. Stop coping that even his own "VBNMW or get Trump out" voters are remorseful." Mediocre Milque really helps put people at rest, but when the guy is built up to be the FDR to Orange Hoover, I expect results.

Biden was seriously going on about having to "secure" or recover a shit-ton of vaccines because the last guy was just sooo bad.

God help us! If only medical practitioners (really, the governors) didn't let the vaccines spoil just to spite a bronzer-loving septuagenarian over the ill millions stricken with COVID maybe Joe could've saved us all.
