General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I wonder if Keekihime has a no cosplaying vtubers clause in her contact. Or if she is just not allowed to cosplay herself.
Even if it's not in her contract, it would be in incredibly poor taste and I doubt she would.

She did a Fubuki cosplay in May before debuting.

It'll definitely be that she isn't allowed to profit off Kiara by selling cosplay prints etc. Also that would just be an insane thing to occur!
But her cosplaying more hololive members would just throw fuel on a twitter fire just waiting to happen. There's no reason to do it unless she went full lolcow and acted out as she was angry at hololive or something.... but then she'd cosplay a Vshojo girl anyway to really stick it to them xD

I'm so glad I'm a Crystal shitter.
All the E-celebsa nd ethots seem to prefer Primal and Aether
That sounds retarded. Someone remind me to avoid XIV on that day because Cactaur's probably going to be filled with cancer.
They're on Cactuar, so Aether was the right guess. Just stay away from the Creampies FC, as that's them and their community FC.
Long time lurker on this board and wanted to throw my two cents in on Vshojo girls joining hololive.
I've said this before, I doubt any of the core girls are going to leave, mostly due to attachment to each other and a good level of success already. As for Froot, she and Zen seem to be close and collab together a ton more than either of them collab with the rest.

Hime/Sydnsap is the only one I see leaving, and that's mostly because she's there to grift and her first couple of streams really feel forced.
And Silver has friends outside of Vshojo like Veibei (who she's getting internet-married to in FF14 on Valentines day) and others and I don't think she'd want to leave them.
I actually see Veibei and Snuffy joining Vshojo in the next little while, as they're friends with the other girls and been joining them on bigger collabs. Momo and Bunny_gif, who played with some of them in their D&D game with Arcadum are the two others I see as a (more distant) possibility, as Momo has her own group of friends and rumour is she's been burned by similar groups before, and Bunny seems to be a drama magnet (or more likely drama creator).

We been knew. Think I pointed it out myself several pages back, and I'm on Cactuar myself as well.

It's kind of painful since I see more and more of them appearing around Shadowbringers areas with the New Player sprout above their heads, meaning most of CREAM is made up of people who bought level and story skips – including a few of the VShojo "girls" themselves.

One other reason Nyanners is less likely to want to jump ship is that she has sponsors already, so she's probably doing just fine as far as money goes. If she has a million subs and good monetization, there's less of a need to go full corporate.

I hope it's called Season or Volume 2 to differentiate it and keeps it grounded in their weebier background.

Didn't Zen leave that group Momo is still in? I got into vtubers around November and missed all that.

But yeah, Snuffy and Veibei are sure-fire in there. Veibei was even in the Hime pre-debut running support; sending the invites to the vshojo girls for VRchat.

The re-debut streams of Nyanners, Ironouse, Silvervale and Zentreya were actually incredibly well done with animatics, lore and and a great reintroduction of themselves and I'd really like to see the same high production and effort from all the season 2 girls too as I know them far less.
Nyanners' interactive RPG game with twitch chat voting on options, to show her lore, was especially clever.

The fact she was able to pull off a 3 hour Raid shadow legends stream dressed like this, literally spilling money on the floor out of the purse is so damn impressive. Girl knows how to shill.

I really don't enjoy the card games the HoloEN girls are forced to play.

Calli's bookwalker sponsored reading of "My Dad's the queen of all Vtubers" though was brilliant.

Despite popular rumor, the other half of AyaMina, is not Okayu. Despite the initial likelihood, no one who's learned Japanese nor is Japanese has successfully managed to link Okayu to Mina. Aya is Korone. Okayu's past life is known and out there, zero links to Mina. whoever she was, she's likely no longer in the Vtuber industry.

Luna was a former Niji from the same batch as Sasaki Saku and despite popular rumor that Saki bullied Luna, this is also not provable. They seem to be on good terms as Saki and that flower girl speak fondly of her past life.

Polka is Nobuhime as a lot of us know.

Subaru was a super niche indie for a short time before Hololive, her old avatar was ugly as sin.

Other than these, no vtubers in the Hololive JP line up seem to be previous corporate talent. Subaru's brought up, because her old avatar is ugly and still haunts me. Hololivers do however have tighter connections to each other than some may think, especially in gen's 1 through 4.

If that's true, the thought of Calli having any say on Gen 2 is... horrifying.
If Calli has any say in suggesting recruits, I assume she'd suggest one of her friends who also auditioned for HoloEN when she did over an alphabet indie nobody. Worst case scenario, they're one in the same. My fingers remain crossed that they aren't.
