I'm of the opinion that those are the same kind of 'fans' that you see most musicians garner. . . namely the hipster brand. How do you show your power level in the music fanbase? You play the good old 'I was a fan before. . .' or the 'But do you know his/her early material?' You don't see genuine Ame/Ina fans pulling this shit. . . only antis and complete morons. But that makes sense since gaming communities and pure-art communities have a modicum of respect for the avatar/pen-name. Plus the growth of the individual isn't as important as the end product in those communities (who brags about knowing GLADD before he was good at Destiny?)(Who brags about knowing any artists before they could draw?). It exists but is much less common than those who obsess over music careers for some reason.

I think she enjoys it to a certain extent. . . And that is a good thing because she is one of the best entertainers they have. She is a troll, a sweet troll, and her supporters know that. They aren't weird obsessives, just other trolls. They are also the perfect people to act as mods because ganking Chinese spammers is like a shooting range. Pure pleasure.
