Trump's attorney van der Veen slapping the media down. The dude's dry as bark but that makes it better when he hits the reporter for insinuating things he didn't say as well as trying to "yes, but" evidence being fabricated by the House Managers. At the very end when he's done with the conversation you see her attempt some attitude to regain lost ground but the guy made his point well. Keep him on speed dial for MAGA people.

You know i watched this a few hours before it was posted here and as we speak am currently listening over the closing arguments(i know this impeachment trial was political fluff but i still wanna get a thorough look at what exactly was happening just to get a feel for some things).

This man right here, this man in particular has got to be one of the most refreshing people i've seen get any sort of spotlight as of late, and with him being simply an attorney and with that someone who is a civilian free of that of political affiliation in the eyes of the american public and by anyone else who would look to knock him down for any simple reason as he practiced his profession i would like to say i have genuine and immense respect for this man.

It's such a goddamn shame that from what i've gathered from here so far and seen that the people no matter their own political affiliations would rather relentlessly embarrass themselves in doctoring evidence then your run of the mill political smear(i mean imagine they could've easily saved themselves from this but fuck they didn't so fuck them).

Even if things become insanely bleak political over the next couple years and even decade i am genuinely glad that these people got a taste of their own atleast in hearing it and i wish every american could see what this man did as a means of seeing just how pathetic this overall trial was, i know they won't but it's wishful thinking on my part.

Maybe just maybe someday we'll be able to actually reform the roles our elected officials hold here as a means of making them as fairly expendable as they see any real threat to them politically because i am still outraged at the fact that not only are we all sadly paying for them to sit on their ass in this fluff trial and lie but that they are using this to further alienate the people while avoiding the issues that all americans are asking about.

I spit on them and i hope the rest of you will join me, press S to spit on the dishonesty of our US Senate.

Nah, I've defended Trump before. His EO on police reform was pretty awesome.

You still haven't answered my question, though. Why do you feel the need to defend him at every turn over everything? You're even seething mad that I am talking about Trump in a thread about Trump (that I was not even posting in until one of your fellow cultists tagged me in, mind you). I mean, that is fucking retarded even considering that it is coming from you, which is already a pretty high bar.

Autistic screeching aside, Mr. Bollea, perhaps there's hope for you after all, though the sheer amount of deflection is something we'll have to work on.

To answer your "question," no, I am not sexually attracted to Mr. Trump. I'm sure he's a lovely man, but he's not my type. As to me defending him, I definitely don't mindlessly idolize the man, and I've been very explicit that he's not an effective strategist and definitely walked into several obvious traps. He also disappointed in caving so quickly to the GOP establishment, and for his failure to invest in any form of organizational structure to ensure more of his supporters would win primaries in safe Republican constituencies. I support Trump because he is a Jacksonian anti-Establishment figure who is occasionally necessary in our country to shake things up and to provide the disenfranchised and disregarded some form of a voice in the governance of this country. He is miles above any other politician we have in attempting to actually deliver on his word, and he demonstrated an attempt to live up to his platform. That's why he managed to increase GOP turnout by 12 million votes, because people saw that he delivered on some of his promises and didn't immediately pretend like he never promised the ones he was unable to accomplish.

I do also enjoy how just like your idol Joe Biden, you've been copying your opponent in some strange attempt to appropriate your opponent's rhetoric against him, but we can work our way towards originality in a later point in the treatment.

Just fuck already.

Only if you sit in the corner and watch.

I honestly couldn't care less about Biden. He is a creepy old man with a terrible voting history, but I still voted for him.

Maybe they're right and we should fuck. At the very least it will definitely let you get rid of that pent up homoerotic tension you have for Trump, and I'll be able to put myself down as homosexual on demographics questionnaires and have a shot at an associate position at a "woke" BigLaw firm.

I dunno, you keep simping for him pretty hard. I admitted something that Trump did that I liked; you should say something that he did that you didn't like.

You mean like this?

I didn't like that he pardoned a rapper who started off one of his music videos by showing him strangling a person wearing a MAGA hat.
Yeah, his overall dick sucking and pandering to the Black community was cringey and pathetic, though I thought calling his investment plan to the Black community the "Platinum Plan" was pretty funny, like he was a used car salesman rather than the President.

Of course you know what that gets you with the dems, right?

I look forward to Pelosi and the House Democrats impeaching President Trump a third time.

Office pool on the charges that they'll bring?
"being a meanie poopie head in the first degree"

if they do actually go for a third attempt I think they'll try and tie it either to something like taxes/financial shit, Russia or something centered around "bigotry and hatred"

When China drops enough money into their coffers to make them say WuFlu actually originated in an American lab that Trump authorized, they'll make that impeachment #3. Probably next year to be midterm distraction fodder. As told by anoynymous sources from people who were probably on Pence's staff, which is where it seems an awful, awful lot of the leaks came from besides Kushner.

Considering that they are speaking about having a "civilian trial" for Trump, this isn't going away. It's a matter of what's going to happen next, that we need to keep an eye out for. Cause when you have people who think that they are above the law, they'll do anything to keep their power.
