Not sure why this is the third time I’ve addressed the “vomitorium” concept in like a month on this site...seems Kiwis just like that concept or it’s a weird coincidence! But I did post about it yesterday in the Lucas Werner thread. A vomitorium refers to entrances and exits of a big amphitheatre or building like the Colisseum, where after events the spectators would “vomit through them” in a crowd. It was never a room for vomiting in, just mistakenly translated as one, and most accounts of romans binging and purging during feasts were made up in the 1800s to show what bad immoral people those dirty pagans were without Christ. The rest of the accounts were a few scattered roman contemporary and mostly spread as rumours about hated rich people and rulers, to show what selfish gluttonous degenerates they were.

I didn't join to receive value in return, because this is Chantal and we all know she won't stick with it long-term.
