The big difference between being trans-racial and trans-gender is that race is a far more complicated and hard-to-pin-down topic where two reasonable people could disagree on a particular person's race. Is a black man raised in an affluent, mostly white neighborhood by his (adopted) white family more black than an equally dark half-black man raised in a 95% black neighborhood by his black family? A mixed-race person can look more or less like one race as they age or as they change styles. Sometimes a person of one race will really look like they belong to another (possibly because of unknown racial mixing). Race is a very unscientific concept that doesn't really stand up to any systematic scrutiny.

I didn't think he was FTM. I don't really see it, he's certainly short and a little portly. Jaw isn't so strong and so forth, but I don't read him as female and his voice - to my ear at least - sounds authentically male.
Couldn't find any hint that he was by googling. I don't believe there is any reason to believe this guy is a chick.
The fake indigenous trend is common in Australia. There are some pretty big fakers around as well (though that troon is authentic based on my expert physiognomic analysis).
An interesting point I'd make is that when it comes to faking being an abo, it's often not really a matter of whether anyone actually believes it, but whether it is convenient for them to believe it. Faking is a kind of high risk/high reward strategy for clout; it pays you out in free arts grants, press coverage or whatever have you, but the second you become inconvenient you'll get turned on in a flash and be reduced to persona non grata. But, if you were never going to amount to anything in the first case, then I suppose it's a pretty good trade.
The best example of this is a fellow called Bruce Pascoe. He's a pseudo-historian/anthropologist of sorts, who published a book which basically claims that Australian Aboriginals were actually farmers, lived in large villages etc. Now, the book is complete garbage and I think everyone that's in the know knows that, but bien pensant types like the story so nobody really goes after him for it. For the same reason, everyone just ignores the fact that he claims to be an Aboriginal (Specifically Tasmanian - which is pretty exotic plus some other associations) despite the fact that ancestry records have fairly conclusively proved that he is full of shit. Moreover, he (for fairly obvious reasons) never bothers to sue anyone for pointing it out. So, we get the peculiar situation of this idiot who everyone knows is a fraud in half a dozen different ways is still celebrated by the state broadcaster and various centre-left outlets.
You could argue that the Gujurati & Arab traders were colonizers too. Nah, castrating either yourself or someone else is haram in Islam. Now, that didn't really matter all that much, since the Islamic world was full of eunuchs for twelve centuries, and there is whole list of hadiths that concern them. Originally, those were usually (or at least theoretically meant to be) castrated by non-Muslims which made it OK. In practice the enforcement of the prohibition was pretty heavily relaxed for reasons of economic and political convenience to the point where we have written testimony of a Safavid Shah castrating his own slaves (which is ??). Ironically, it was the religious hardliners - the jurists and so forth - who remained implacably opposed to castrating anyone or really anything (castrating animals is also largely proscribed by Islamic law as well).
I'm not really sure how Islamic law got squared with the cock-chop in 1987 though. My guess is that it is some sort of implied precedent from earlier rulings on intersex people who could be operated on based on the notion of 'proper function.'

I have to agree with this. Smith looks like a lot of generic pre-law men I know, down to the pudge. Plus Brayden was an intern at CATO which seems like an unlikely place for an TIF to intern at.
Not to mention there's 4 children in the Smith family and all their names start with Br and most have a y in them, so having a name that lots of TIFs like would seem to be a coincidence. And the oldest brother at least looks a lot the same, including the ears.
If Brayden was in fact a woman, they've been using that name officially since at least spring of 2013, when they took the PSAT.
I am still a bit suspicious because of how little information there is about them online and the general weirdness of the death. There's also a two year gap in their education which I don't have accounted for. But there's plenty of explanations for that.

Gotta love Malay troons. Back in the day banci were just gay hookers skirting around norms because it's better to "be" a woman than gay. It began with Ayatollah Khomeini saying it was okay to do surgery on intersex people, but he specifically said that if your genitals were healthy, it wasn't allowed. But then when he was Supreme Leader of Iran, a tranny literally came to Khomeini's house and wouldn't leave despite the guards beating him up. Khomeini's son felt bad about that and asked Khomeini to talk to him. Apparently all that was enough for Khomeini to change his mind and issue a new fatwa saying troon surgery is okay. Despite getting the approval to get surgery in 1987, he didn't get the chop until 1997 which goes to show how necessary it is.
I don't know how a shia fatwa came to be accepted in other parts of the Islamic world. Probably decided to go with the same reasoning as a way to get rid of some of their gay men.
On another fun note, said troon was on hormones for a long time and proceeded to die from a heart attack at 62. Probably a coincidence though.
