Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh dies at 70

Conservative talk show radio host and Republican party icon Rush Limbaugh has died. He was 70 years old.

His wife Kathryn announced his passing on his radio show Wednesday, saying Limbaugh died earlier this morning.

“Rush will forever be the greatest of all time,” she said.

Limbaugh had been battling advanced lung cancer since February.

Back in October, Limbaugh provided this somber update on his show: “You know, I wake up every day and thank God that I did. I go to bed every night praying I’m gonna wake up. I don’t know how many of you do that, those of you who are not sick, those of you who are not facing something like I and countless other millions are.”

Former President Donald Trump awarded Limbaugh the Medal of Freedom during his most recent State of the Union address

This appearance only a few days after his he revealed his diagnosis on his show.

“I can’t help but feel that I’m letting everybody down with this, but the upshot is that I have been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer,” Limbaugh said in February.

“The Rush Limbaugh Show” first aired in 1988.

Weepy-eyed? No. Bummed out? Feelsy? Definitely.

Lol. He and Seth MacFarlane were actually really good friends IRL.
Has MacFarlene responded to this? Would be interesting to see the reactions to it and I'm sure everyone would enjoy that show. Personally I've always had mixed feelings about Rush, especially during the Bush years (defending his privacy violations, outsourcing jobs and globohomo shit) and how he always felt like some rino puppet, but in the last decade it sounded like he really started to turn around and sound like a populist.
Larry King is dead too
Well fuck... (:_(

So, Americans are being happy over his death and they openly declare their vivid hatred towards him after his death just because he hosted a talk show with political views that differed theirs? In a normal country this would happen if a dictator that ruined the entire country for decades has died, not some random tit that talks about shit on the radio. But I guess that's the trait of Americans, acting like emotional manchildren when discussing serious topics because they simply don't like somebody.
Because a sizeable number of Americans that use twitter are among the most narcissistic and immature creatures in existence, who take people holding differing political outlooks as a direct attack on them and their existence. So yes, to these manchildren, a boomer that spent years talking about political views they disliked on a radio station they never listened to really is the equivalent to a ruthless dictator, and this is the day of their liberation.

Only in the feverishly fucked-up brains of far-left retards is George Floyd a tragic hero taken before his time and Rush Limbaugh an (adjective) (pejorative) (pathologising term) straight white male.
I never had much time for his style of broadcasting, but can the left not contain its ghoulish glee?

Except here, where most of us danced to her finally kicking the bucket. Was never a Rush fan, but cancer is cruel. Nobody should ever wish for someone to get it.
That day is forever ingrained in my memory. I still used iFunny at the time and the shitposting was so hard the serbshit servers exploded and it took an hour to post a 400kb image. Libshits do not wanna play that game with anyone right of Stalin. Emotional cheeks will get and have gotten clapped

I really never listened to his show, but I've worked in radio for ages doing tech type shit.
If he hadn't been the big bang of conservative talk I probably wouldn't have had any amount of work in the field, just because of how many shows his stuff kick-started

I just don't get it. What sins did this man commit that were so devastating to them that they have to cheer and celebrate his death? I'm not going to cheer for when someone like Jon Oliver dies because all he really does is talk. At least when the right pisses on someone's grave it was someone with actual power who misused it like RBG or John McCain.

I'm going to resist the urge to bully the living shit out of some of you, but I will say that if you're getting weepy-eyed over the death of some old man that you did not know, and who also likely hated you, then you seriously need to man the fuck up. He wasn't your friend, I get that he said things you though were "heckin based" but that does not mean you had any sort of relationship. He was a boomer, and it is ALWAYS FUNNY when a boomer dies.

inb4 "muh morality," "muh howd u feel," and other spooks
Stirner was a mistake

Libs are making Rush sound based, instead of the hack cuck blowhard he was. Any now-controversial thing he said was safe for a bog-standard GOP mouthpiece to say at the time.

My last memory of him is him getting his balls handed to him on the Breakfast Club, a shamefur dispray of boomer cuckoldry
The man did more than any modern politician for the average man
What did he do?
