Most people on 4chan and r/w don't actually think their waifus are real. The communities are incredibly similar IMO, it's just that self-shippers don't follow the weird "rules" of r/w.
Yeah, she's a dedicated one that would be considered a "waifuist" on Reddit. It's really just two communities for the same thing that sprang from different Internet sites.
