I didn’t know much about Monoe besides some Pikamee collabs and a MV that someone posted some pages ago, but the whole situation feels very sudden and kinda of serious.
This is probably the worst thing that could happen to a corporate vtuber. She just got erased without even the possibility of saying anything, even goodbye to her viewers.

A very sudden and quite sad occurence with Monoe. As many other people in this thread I think she was streaming as another character for some other agency or something similar. Kinda makes sense: she could have been frustrated about disproportion in popularity between her and Pikamee and decided to search for other opportunities.

This rrat (is that how you say it?) is the one that makes the most sense so far. If i can throw a dumb one into the mix just for fun, maybe shes Uto. As one comes back, the other goes away.

I remember her mentioning that in a clip. Immigration policy by the host country most likely - like how if someone is applying for a visa of any kind for work or residence in a country, they can't already be in the country when they apply for that. Especially if it was true when Kiara mentioned that her visa was a one-time special work visa. There's no renewing that when it expires and Cover on her behalf will have to apply for another work visa this time around. She can't be in Japan while that's being processed.

It doesn't have to be Cover scouting for new gen of JP talents, it may be some new player with loads of emone to invest. At this point it's all speculation though.

My money is on Sony and the shekels to Ishikara was just a test, is the only big player with deep pockets that could pull something out at this point and are involved in some way with Vchubas

Watching Bloom right now and noticed that like someone said here the jacket of Botan was indeed improved over the first version, same as Lamy and Polka, Lamy got hit by a entire barrage of improvements including her arms not being a janky mess and her hair not clipping through everything, Polka really needs a new design where the skirt is removed because it must be tiring having your arms lifted to not clip with them

Also Botan has made me get bored of Blue Clapper because she spam it on her streams, the only good thing that has come from it was a comment that the instrumental version sounds like a kamen rider belt sound jingle

If it had been a privacy breach I'm sure some of the usual suspects would've been forthcoming with Monoe's dox and if it were simply her moving to another company there would've been a graduation stream. Sad!

They're all wonderful, unimpeachable little angels. Luna is the most irritating to actually listen to, though.

Personally I'm dubious on it being drug-related. It's not impossible, but that's the sort of thing I'd expect to pop up early on because drug use isn't that easy to hide. No one would need to discuss it for any length of time, dismissal would be immediate.

More probable in my mind is Monoe having some sort of moonlighting gig she's kept on the down low. Not even necessarily streaming, could be art or merch related, just something which GYARI sees as directly competing with VOMS. Not a stretch to imagine the VOMS girls are only allowed contractually to stream or do vtubing things in the context of the project for example, and that doing anything similar outside of it would be heavily frowned upon.

Goes to show how much Hololive (especially Coco) have spoiled us in this regard, normally contract details and limitations like VOMS' are kept firmly behind NDAs to preserve the public's perception of the larger business.

I don't think anyone here actually hates Luna. They're just put off by her voice. Which in all honesty I can kind of understand, I wouldn't normally enjoy it either. But the sad thing is that I genuinely think that's her voice. At least it's the same voice she's used for everything she does from her previous personas and RL videos. Miko's voice is another example of someone that sounds like they're faking it, but again from her RL videos, it seems like it's her real voice.

I personally love Luna though, I think her personality and content are great.

I feel like the only answer that would satisfy how that question was phrased is Hitomi Chris to be honest, unless you want to bring out sub/SC numbers and decide with that, even if "suspended" she's the only widely disliked Holo.
Doubt even RABID, LIVID, UNREASONABLE, and ABSOLUTELY OUTLANDISH Luna haters like @negativlad would say she's the "worst holo", at least not phrased like that

When you put it like that, I guess Artia would be the worst for me. I wasn't around during the Hitomi Chris incident. But there's enough ambiguity surrounding Artia during the whole Taiwan incident that I dislike her. And obviously the stuff she pulled after graduating doesn't really help her case.

I've been reading around on some vtuber discussions among themselves and someone offered that one of the most plausible reasons is that she either applied with another agency without notifying VOMS, either that or she may have already been doing something with another agency on the down-low and then Gyari/VOMS found out. The merch issue is also plausible given that the contract between Gyari and VOMS does state that they get to keep all SC revenue in exchange for him getting to monetize on their merch/art instead.
