It's a construct, just like when Billy uses Jews to try and hamfistedly prove some SJW point. Just turn people into tools to prove his dogma; toss away any real people who belong to those groups if they disagree.
Of relevance to the hijab thing, I was at my hairdresser today who is from Iran. She emigrated to Germany and then America about 20 years ago, holds no love for the Iranian government, and despises the morality laws they force down Persians' throats. She was literally just talking to me today about Iran forcing women into hijabs under extreme penalty—up to and including public execution (by hanging). Yet in Billy's estrogen-riddled mind, her lived experience as a "Muslim" woman (I don't get the sense she cares that much about religion, but we'll call her a Persian Muslim in terms of culture and upbringing) and the repressed group of women she can represent by living in a free country and speaking/expressing herself without risk is entirely dismissible because it doesn't jive with SJW dogma. Billy is literally a colonialist.
And a pedophilic furry, but we already knew that from the minute he created a comic about the genitals of a little boy.

If we're being generous, technically real, but rare. Them legit being Muslim is where it becomes questionable. Some people like to pretend to be Muslim to get oppression points, and they want that sweet x2 point modifier by also being some other "oppressed" group, even if said group/beliefs are entirely at odds with one another.
I have no doubts that's why Billy included it, just swap out oppression points with SJW points. It's the same reason he'll sometimes throw a black or crippled character into a background panel. And, to give him the faintest of praise, he at least knows his audience well enough that this trick works every single time, and there's usually at the very least a few handful of comments praising him for including said prop.

He made that story arc when he was at the height of his Muslim ass kissing phase. He fetishized Islam just like every other topic/theme he touches. Oddly, Labelle hasn’t touched on the topic of Islam in quite some time. Not sure if he lost interest or the constant mocking and accusation of tokenism finally got to him.

Homosexual Muslims do exist (even in Iran). However, the Iranian's homophobia led them to a very odd conclusion: the gays were born the wrong sex, so they must correct this mistake by forcing them to undergo sex-change surgery to become the "correct" gender. Western troons (like Labelle) would go on about how Iran has free transition surgeries and how that's a good thing- without mentioning that this was forcibly done to homosexuals.
As always, Billy is fat, stupid, and living in a fantasy world.

It’s more entertaining than anything else. Troons pushed the 41% for sympathy. Critics pointed out that that doesn’t exactly suggest that trans people are mentally stable, or that their problems are gender-based. Satirists seized on it. Then troons tried to walk that back, but it’s too late.
It’s standard practice with troons. Do X, critics point X out, deny X.
Make up your mind, Billy. Were you a dainty little girl who went straight from school to making comics full time, or were you a gay man fucking lots of dudes?

This cartoon is for internal consumption by the troons. It's not for us. This is how they talk to each other. This is how they think. That's why I'm so interested in this comic. Normally we wouldn't get this insight into autism. Their thinking is broken and you can see it in every one of Billy's frames. If you think you can reason with troons, read Assigned Male.

She doesn't understand how this works. The rent increase things are for CURRENT tenants. As a landlord I can't increase my current tenants rent by more then a certain amount. Once a tenant moves and I put the apartment back on the market I am free to put it up for whatever I please.

Additionally (at least where I live) you have to give at least a month's notice beforehand. There's also rent control and good old fashioned capitalist competition.
