LMAO lil shark playin the jiggle physics

So just how much money is in this vtuber thing? I dont see them getting big in the west tho.
Asanagi and ShindoL are more like men(chad men in Asanagi usually) dominates women by teaching them their roles is to be on their knees, actual knees themselves are not necessary in the process if you know what I mean.

Mizuryu's premise are about whores and sluts that don't even need breaking. They just want to be ahegaoed. Also likes to draw cute boys getting laid. Which aligns with Shadman more than the other two.
Asanagi has some real talent but the amputee shit ruins everything, I dont know how Shindol manages to always make everything seem disgusting

Going by super-chats ALONE, of the top 20 highest-revenue channels of all time on the totality of YouTube, 13 of them are vtubers.

Of those 13 vtubers, 11 of them are Hololive.

All 5 of the Top 5 Super-chat-total-revenue channels are Hololive Vtubers, totalling more than 7 Million USD.

The "oldest" Vtuber among those top five is Aqua, and her debut was in August of 2018, less than 3 years ago.

I dont see them getting big in the west tho.
Gawr Gura, one of Hololive's first English-As-First-Language talent, has 2 Million subscribers, and has only been a channel on YouTube for...going on 5 months now? I mean I know that's not specifically a money stat, but...

Say what you will about Project Melody as an entertainer outside of porn, but she took the fuck over Chaturbate before trying to pretend she was good at anything but thotting to the point where a bunch of people got so mad that their fat wrinkly pussies that probably smell like low tide were getting beat by a damn cartoon, they demanded she be removed from the platform for no other reason than being a cartoon.

The vtubers designed specifically to tailor to western audiences have all experienced 2-3 times the rate of growth of JP-oriented vtubers. Many of them have hit milestones that even the most seasoned JP vtubers couldn't have imagined.

7 Million USD per month? year?

And last time I checked western vtubers it was like a year ago, you say that Gawr Gura is only 5 months right? makes sense, tho I bet the growth has more to do with hololive being behind it, which sounds like its a big youtube production company now right? I recall some western indies trying this and only getting a few thousands of subs

Yeah heard about melody, thots were saltier than the dead sea for a month, is she still near the top of OF or the hype died down?

Really? got more about that? like analytics and stuff

She is being a annoyance in Vshoujo, at least that shithole can function as a containment for her

サクナヒメラスボス配信
Her stream of the last boss of Sakuna Hime.
I have no idea what happened there, maybe a Fubuki fan here knows?
I remember this one.
It happened around the launch window of Sakuna, where everyone and their mother was streaming it.
Basically; Fubuki's first stream of the game is her fighting the final boss, and the autists/antis got triggered over the apparent lack of spoiler warnings.
IIRC they even got one of the devs to comment on what she did, and tried to take it out of context.

All-time. But as mentioned, the oldest channel among them has been just short of 3 years...so napkin math with a bunch of assumptions because I'm a lazy fuck comes out to 2.33 Million Per year.

I won't deny that being backed by a larger production company is a pretty big factor, but outside of being backed by a production company, it's just like any content creation, a bunch of grinding, learning lessons along the way, and for a bunch of people you either make good connections, or you have something go viral and you capitalize on it if you're good enough.

Vtubing is more or less just a more expensive version of streaming, when it gets down to it.

A couple indies are on their climb, Ririsya and Amatsuka Uto are two people who I can think of right now that are more-or-less independent, though they are Japanese, and some people might want to start arguments whether Uto is independent. Futakuchi Mana is an independent I'm pretty sure, and clearly an English-first streamer, but I only discovered her today after someone here posted a bunch of clips, looking at her channel she's only been at it a month and has 50k youtube subs.

Kiryu Coco debuted at the end of 2019, before Hololive's huge break and by August, 1 month before the debut of HoloEN, she made 800k USD in SC
Considering the relatively low "operating costs" of vtubers and the fact that some even do it as a second job I would say that's pretty damn big.

For indies well one of the most superchatted is Kagura Mea, who got 120k USD this year, so being backed by a company obviously brings in quite a bit, but I doubt many indies are vtubing as their only source of income

Poll closed, it just ran for half an hour
View attachment 1934950
Things we learned:
1. We are extremely predictable
2. Coco antis are running out of budget smh only 1 bot got in
3. Luna is objectively the best vtuber

I call this a success
I'm sorry but what was this poll for?

Also I'm not really watching it due to being exhausted but Kiara's going-away party (duets with Calli) is happening right now I think. Not sure where it falls on the scale of seiso vs shitshow.
