Apparently compulsory military service is scaring him very much and he's still seeking a way to avoid it. He thinks army life will destroy his childish, emotional, angelic traits. Theoretically speaking, he could get a four year college degree and enjoy a shorter stint as a private or be a junior officer held in reserve. Plus, serving would improve his chances of getting a woman.
