Assuming they did blood work. I wonder if they went more in-depth with her about diabetes. Or if that has already been on her case file for ages.
They undoubtedly took a finger stick blood glucose reading after she was admitted/in the ER. It's standard procedure, and I'm sure her blood sugar was well into Beetusville.
Edematous skin infection? Does she mean cellulitis? If so, lol fat.
I think she's trying to avoid the word "cellulitis" because that's what Amberlynn Reid gets multiple times a year on her huge Lymphedema legs. Infected Edema skin = cellulitis. It's particularly common among uncontrolled diabetics.
Cellulitis frequently comes up as a complication on My 600 lb life, when the superfats have terrible hygiene; Dr Now gives them a lecture about how they need to wash and dry their fat folds every day to prevent it.
Edema with no other context actually sounds worse as it could be ascites from her shot liver.
Less dangerous/serous edema is usually in the legs or feet, unless it's secondary to a poorly healing surgical site. Her ankles aren't swollen, as seen in the "exercise" video, so I doubt she's got standard edema.
Look for google images of "edema abdomen", "edema pelvis", "edema trunk", etc. You'll find cancer patients, organ failure, bad tummy tucks.
But if you look for "lymphedema obesity stomach", and then "lymphedema cellulitis", it's much more likely to be Chantal's problem.
I'd bet money she's lying about not having lymphedema. She'll avoid getting a formal diagnosis, of course, because she doesn't want to know. But if it's ascites from her liver, she's fucked.
Not possible it's a "protien deficiency" according to dozens of KFers who said I was dumb when suggested, despite her admitted B12 deficiency er B12 supplements her Dr told her to take arrived during her mall Chinese Mukbang). Where do you get B12 from...animal protien sources!!!
Did you write that "protein deficiency" theory after watching her eat a Popeye's fish feast that contained at least 50 grams of protein?
Go to Popeye's website, and add up everything she ate including the side dishes, biscuit and dessert.
Also, the fish naturally contained B12.
Doctors usually tell fatties to take B12 and vitamin D3 supplements, Standard advice. Most people, in fact, can benefit from taking both vitamins a few times a week at least.
