YouTubers you hate that everyone else likes

Any animator whose gig is making shorts consisting of gross out humour, edginess and cartoonishly detailed faces and expressions.

Any youtuber that posts short meme videos based on videogames and anime.

AlternateHistoryHub.
Some videos are good but after studying history and watching other history youtubers I realized that many of his videos are extremely shallow.

Ben G Thomas.
No idea why really. It is the most ambitious and diverse paleontology channel contentwise. Something about them just rubs me the wrong way. I think it is a combination of their editing, voices and tendency to show their faces.
They have a pro-Musk stance so that too.

Edit: Ok think I realized why: they have no idea of how to use visuals simply letting pictures slowly slide across the screen for a couple of seconds instead of letting viewers focus on them.
Repetitive use of adjectives like "fascinating", "incredible" and "interesting".
Annoying mannerisms.

TierZoo.
Give me some tophats because dumbing down zoology into videogame references is the most childish thing possible to make and enjoy. Anyone who watches that shit should be ashamed of themselves.

Brian Kibler, just from briefly looking into him. The guy has severe TDS, and seems like your typical passive aggressive control freak, but got praised for being "mature" because he silently seethes instead of bitching (just reading his body language in clips and it's so unsettling). He was involved in a few games that were really predatory, iirc he's done sponsorships for games he's been involved with without great disclosure of his role. He's also the voice of people crying "X game is too expensive", and "X deck/card needs a nerf or ban" on reddit.

Maybe I don't hate them, but I follow a smattering of channels I later heard referred to as "the Fandom Menace," (cringe) and it's never been more obvious how little information is coming from Hollywood these days. I feel for them because the Wuhan Flu isn't their fault and news topics are thin, but...

I have my issues with Midnight's Edge anyway (one of three music beds + one of two voiceovers + formulaic script), but they've been especially disappointing lately. If they aren't presenting the odd (usually excellent) interview of someone in/of the Hollywood industry, or if they're not giving an overview of something like the history of the Conan franchise... these days they're doing long, low effort streams (which can still occasionally be worthwhile depending on who is commentating) or they're pumping out awful clickbait videos built around the tiniest morsels of entertainment "news." Yes, Kathleen Kennedy is awful at her job, and yes, I dislike her. I don't need to watch another video talking about how much she sucks according to some "new" info. I know this isn't real content! Why not make decent stuff? I know you can.

Mr. H, a guy I actually like, is similarly struggling for the same kind of content. But he's at least trying to branch out into other stuff, like exploring unrealized scripts and series lore. Let's put aside how his videos are often a tad over 10 minutes long and are filled with him reading an article out loud and providing obviously off-the-cuff (read: unprepared) commentary. At least he's trying other things. I mean, I'm not watching his stuff anymore either, but I respect the effort!

Now compare them to another YouTuber in that circle, Robert Meyer Burnett. This guy is doing a long stream or two every night discussing entertainment news/topics, and he's damn good at it. Sure, he's a leftist (and not so upset about those "kids in cages" anymore, oddly), but he's pretty respectful. And maybe more than anyone else in my feed (in any type of content) he's trying to create a feeling of community, unity, and celebration of the storytelling stuff we all love. And his opinions are almost always worth hearing. When he trashes something, it deserves to be trashed, and he trashes it well, but he avoids partisan bickering for the most part. He provides actual content.

And as for HeelsVsBabyface, the only stuff of his I have seen are the Prisoner rewatch videos he did with RMB. It's good stuff... but the rest of his videos seem to be the exact same thin gruel seeping from Midnight's Edge and similar channels. "Don't you hate this woke shit??" Yes I do. But I don't need 15 videos across 10 channels about how awful Batwoman is, for fuck's sake.

I liked Midnight's Edge before they went full "SJWS ARE BAD" baiting to appeal to the main group of people watching their videos. Around that time is when they stopped making more of their better videos like the retrospectives and started making more same-y Fandom Menace stuff. They also went all in on the Lucasfilm Civil War theories (sure, Bob Iger, Jon Favreau, and Dave Filoni totally hate Kathleen Kennedy and want her gone and the only reason they can't do anything about her is that they'll get branded sexist) and "Gina Carano is going to save Star Wars by having opposing political beliefs".

They also had to delete one of their videos because they used the Covid-19 situation (right before all the lockdowns) to shill some kind of emergency supplies sponsor.

I'm beginning to dislike LSuperSonicQ the more he does videos where he's just talking into a camera. Stop trying to instigate a parasocial relationship with me and just post a still image or video clip relevant to whatever autistic subject you're covering, damnit.
This can apply to a lot of youtubers nowadays, not just LSuperSonicQ.

I really, really fucking dislike FriendlyJordies. Aside from being a partisan hack who immediately shows his true colors the moment anyone tries take the Labor party to task for their stupidity and his endless environmentalism faggotry (the videos where he tries to shit on nuclear power are maximum cringe), he has this lolsorandumb style of humor that combined with his ADHD style of presentation where he can't stay on topic for more than 10 seconds, make his videos absolute torture to get through. And being that he's one of the few Australian political YouTubers still around that isn't Isaac Butterfield (who is his own brand of insufferable faggot), that just makes it all the worse unless you start looking for obscure outback channels with like 10 subscribers.

This might be jumping the gun a bit and might be more of a warning shot. But it's starting to feel like Linus Tech Tips is taking a turn going from millenial tech guy to desperate appeal to zoomers. Teh trajectory itself is similar to the channel and company's growth, from frat house PC guys to jaded upstart rival company to now turning into this consooooom brand with too many channels too fast with a growing unease of Trudeau cuckery floating around now. He hasn't fired any good people yet like Anthony or Alex but it he did recently hire that girl Madison from his one PC build contest winner video as a social media manager. It triggers alarms of Mighty No. 9's community manager and also being a simp magnet for the PC guys to dream over a 5/10 attainable nerd girl. He also has that Jake kid who is a walking example of not hiring Gen Z for any reason.

Jordie makes maybe one funny video a year (the last funny video he made was the goon review video), but you're right ... most of the time he comes across as a member of Young Labor that's drunk too much red cordial.

As for the Buttsmarn... he's basically an Aussie Kiwifarmer sans the autism. The constant shilling for merch and other shit is definitely insufferable faggotry, tho.

JaidenAnimations - a fat Asian who made a terrible, no-good, absolutely dreadful song about anorexia.

The Odd1sOut - he’s obnoxious

JelloApocalypse - also obnoxious

SuperButterBuns - talks a mile a minute and has the air of a tumblrite screaming about fandoms. Her Jersey accent is not quirky; it’s annoying.
i can't fuckin stand boyinaband. him or any other "youtube musicians" (especially ones who make songs about video games). it's just bad music. if you're gonna make a song about anorexia or depression or some gay shit at least be a bit more subtle.

found this nigga cause he had a song about big chungus so you know i had to peep da technique. this is apparently his "serious" song, but it doesnt work when just lookin at your face makes me laugh

Penguinz0/MoistCr1tikal is one I'm really not a fan of, don't hate the guy himself but hate his content. His content for the most part is just him lazily talking into a camera with a monotone voice whining about e-celeb drama while simultaneously being nothing more than an armchair activist and throwing in the odd "Dude, cum and fleshlights, lmao" to keep the 12-year-old Redditors in his audience entertained. If you do find his stuff funny then more power to you, humor is incredibly subjective, but to me his stuff is as funny as Typhus.
Honestly Charlie is only funny when he riffs on dumb cringey videos on the internet or his moist meter videos. Other than that, his sex joke videos where he plays with dildos is cringeworthy.

Tierzoo is fine since his videos are meant to inform those who are not too interested to get into Zoology so it at least gets kids interested in wanting to learn Zoology.

I recently watched his video defending Apple's fuck-you-consumer decision to rip out the headphone jack, and I pretty much though, "Wow, what a shameless, sycophantic faggot!"

I'm so tired of youtube forcing anything Vinesauce into my recommendations. I've scouted a couple of them in private windows because the content occasionally looks interesting and unique, but every single time it's some obnoxious boring retard laughing at their own "ironic" non-jokes, reading out loud any and every line of dialogue they can, and then barely even interacting with whatever game they're playing long enough for jokes or humor to form naturally because they're on some ridiculous gaming schedule they need to adhere to by the dot, while constantly appeasing their dipshit underage chronic memer chats. They're far from the most grating, but nothing else keeps herpes'ing it's way back onto my feed as much as Vinesauce does, especially when I keep telling youtube I'm just not fucking interested.

I'd say Zefrank1 does a better job at being entertaining and informational for an older kid audience while Tierzoo aims lower in terms of age range.

Noah Caldwell-Gervias. I used to genuinely like a lot of his videos, but then I started looking through his comments sections and every single time somebody disagrees with him, he reacts with extreme aggression. Call him out on his occasional political screeds and he becomes even more enraged and vitriolic.

It surprises me that people like him and find him so 'insightful' now, because when he fucks up, it's to such a comical degree that you can tell instantly that he has done no research whatsoever and completely believes whatever random drivel he saw on Twitter that morning. The way he brutally, painfully contorts the narrative of Watch_Dogs to fulfill his anti-GG views was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. I'll never watch him again.

- Jacksepticeye, never liked him.
- Pewdiepie, never liked him.
- MCYT or any other video gamer ytbers
- Shane Dawson, never liked him.
- Ros_q or Rosali (animation meme ytber)
- Yaeger (another animation ytber)
- Jacksfilms, I did enjoy his YGS series but once he stopped doing those he went downhill for me.

And others who I can think of.
